Either way, is that because TC is OP? Or is it because the Krysae is massivly OP?

This is a good compromise.  But tick the damage up to 25% and you have a deal.

No no. It IS a good idea...but it will be very unpopular.

Another unpopular idea would be to change the dmg bunos you get from TC from being a flat bonus at rank 4, into one like rank 6, only works for snipers.
THEN change the Krysae into an ASSAULT RIFLE, instead of a sniper.

enemies will melee you if they get within melee range.

shooting ruins cloak.
using a power in cloak ends cloak unless you have the 6th evo.
if using power doesnt end cloak you incurr said powers cooldown.
using the full length of cloak leaves a nasty cooldown (scaling cooldown). 


If cloak is nerfed people will just start kicking infiltrators because they can't do the million and 1 things that people expect them to do on gold.

+How am i suposse to put out meaniful DPS with a 2 second window and a nerfed dmg bonus?

+TC works how it does so that infiltrators can carry those heavy weapons while having mediorce cooldowns. 3 seconds is still higher than nearly every other attacking power in the game. It works like that so that we can carry a heavy weapon and something else to balance out the loadout while still maintaining the ability to use cloak for its team orientated functions.

Anyway, try the Krysae on anything OTHER than an Infiltrator and come back when it takes less than 2 shots to kill a Cerberus Trooper on Silver/Gold.

That's right. On any other class the Krysae is only just "ok" not overpowered and definitly NOT OP or even close to your hyperbolic "MASSIVELY" OP statement.

Your just being silly now.

The Krysae is only OP on an Infiltrator and ONLY when they take the Rank 6 +40% SR Damage bonus for Tactical Cloak.
On another class, it's actually pretty weak and other snipers are always a better choice.

So given that data I can conclude there is nothing wrong with the Krysae, just something wrong with Tactical Cloak.

That's ok, I'm ignored most of the time anyway. Especially when I have a good idea for how to actually balance everything out and reach a good comprimise for EVERYONE without actually killing a gun or a class.

Absurd. Cloak works just fine against enemies who are shooting at you as long as you step out of the way. And seriously, you're talking about melee range? Vanguards excepted, everything else is dead before they get that close! Your arguments are as paper-thin as they come, like some wealthy ass claiming he needs a tax break because his collection of sports cars has grown large enough to need a second full-time attendant.

Infiltrators might be balanced if Cloak was stuck at level 1. Even at level 1, it's more powerful than pretty much every other skill in the game, effectively making you nigh-invincible and increasing damage nearly as much as a freaking Stand-And-Be-Shot Soldier.  Unfortunately, it goes on from there to offer an additional 80% damage, 55% cooldown, and 30% duration.

I think everyone should stop complaining about TC is not overpowered its going to make gold harder especially with the added combat engineers and more geth primes and the enemy objectives and object recoverys  if the TC was to get nerfed, they may have to make the factions a bit easier to balance the nerf of the TC.

But Turrets do not detect cloaked infiltrators, and cloaked Infiltrators are generally your best weapon against them. That's the kicker, really: all of the difficulty increases affect everyone else far more than they affect infiltrators. Vanguards were always a little dubious in Gold, but the overload of stun-happy Geth Primes makes them increasingly hopeless. Meanwhile, infiltrators just cloak and run away, not to mention that their high damage output becomes even more valuable.

You people are so flipping WEIRD .......so focused on the damn stupid Infiltrators WEAPON mastery god it's silly I want you all to think this way

#1 Control Power- a Infiltrator is a controller unit not a TANK it can't take blows very steadily it's a glass canon WITH a GUN not a power a GUN

#2 Stead Aim- you have to AIM a gun time the cloak and pound the last shots out before the short buff ends killing 1-2 units on your own terms while your comrades deal with stuff or you can try to kill small units as fast as you can

#3 Prey- mentioned above the right shot and target must be spotted if you choose that WRONG target you can lose ground control effectily losing control power over that zone

#4 Turret- some may wanna stand in a clever spot and be the personal ground hold in a single section for your buds to rest in it's your job to make their job easier not for you to be kill happy dorks and lone wolf

#5 Stalking- to be a stalker is harder a foe can see you at a certain times depending on difficulty and unit it's best to pick em off run about pick em off so on this is common way to play too

knowing the role of gathering objectives is too important holding a hack zone gathering such they are not OP in the sense that most ppl think that OOOOOO he can be invisible!!! he get SNEAK ATTACK power OMG .... most classes have massive continual rapid damages that you all underestimate all cause they USE A.. GUN and of all things you must AIM that GUN most time this is not outclassing ANYTHING it's NORMAL you ppl focus on the stupidest things leave the Inf ALONE it's a reasonable class for TEAM WORK EFFORTS stop whinging about Kill steals stop whimpering about the damn score STOP insulting everything you can about BUFFS and NERFS FOCUS on the more important stuff like the fact that some bugs arnt EVEN FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...these are the most annoying bugs currently how about we FIX THEM instead of whinign about nerfs on classes you think are just over done GOD I never seen so many complaints over this class and there all stupid next is VORCHA about their HP regen sheesh

Yes, they DO. try cloaking and then walking into a room where you knwo a turret is. IT. SHOOTS. YOU.
EVERYTHING shoots you even when you cloak. TC doesn't make you disappear...just SLIGHTLY harder to see.

Take a Geth Hunter for example. even when its cloaked you can see it, and if you're shooting at it and it re cloaks...what do you do? do you stop shooting? NO its still there, so you KEEP SHOOTING IT.

Our TC does the same thing, just not as well

I don't get the point of this thread nerfing the TC whats next nerf the marksman or some other skill there's already sabotage that got heavily nerfed on the geth controlling side of it and now they want to nerf the cloak.

No, it doesn't. I just went through a half-dozen Gold runs this evening as an Infil, both Salarian and Geth, and not one bullet from a Turret touched me. Quite the contrary, my Gethfiltrator murdered about two dozen of them without incident.

Your ability to ignore reality is downright stunning.
