Why would I ever take a soldier when I can take an QMI? Tack on the Krysae and some equipment and I am an AoE machine. No other class comes close.
My Human Vanguard says otherwise.

You may be right, maybe not.
Either way, is that because TC is OP? Or is it because the Krysae is massivly OP?

Honestly a nerf down to 15% IS unreasonable.
I do agree that TC needs a rebalance BADLY. However I think THIS would be the more reasonable change.
Change Rank 4 damage bonus from 90% to 65%
Change Rank 6 sniper rifle damage bonus from 40% flat damage TO 40% HEADSHOT damage bonus.
Those changes would bring the Tactical Cloak skill down a notch WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY nerfing the Krysae WITHOUT actually nerfing the Krysae!
Anyone agree?:wizard:

I will take 15% damage over 90% only if tactical cloak makes me COMPLETELY invisible, untargetable and undetectable, no matter the enemy, distance to them or group size. If i play alone all enemies should freeze and wait until I decloak for further actions.

I need not read anymore. A consesus had been reached. This is the best course of action and has the most balance. Unfortunately it is likely that you will be ignored. Oh well, you tried to inspire reason in the masses. You are amongst the few.

This is a good compromise. But tick the damage up to 25% and you have a deal.

Infiltrators are only Imbalanced when placed with other imbalances, the class itself isnt imbalanced at all. Its really good though.
90% damage buff every 3 seconds (without the sniper evo)
3 sec cooldown
weight irrelevance
aggro dump
objective runners.

What about this part, you know the part you wouldnt quote.
Cloak doesnt work well when used against enemies already shooting you.
enemies will melee you if they get within melee range.
no regen while cloaked, a stray melee or bullet or grenade can ruin your day.
limited time damage buff, its literally only like 2 seconds.
shooting ruins cloak.
using a power in cloak ends cloak unless you have the 6th evo.
if using power doesnt end cloak you incurr said powers cooldown.
using the full length of cloak leaves a nasty cooldown (scaling cooldown).
If cloak is nerfed people will just start kicking infiltrators because they can't do the million and 1 things that people expect them to do on gold.
+How am i suposse to put out meaniful DPS with a 2 second window and a nerfed dmg bonus?
+TC works how it does so that infiltrators can carry those heavy weapons while having mediorce cooldowns. 3 seconds is still higher than nearly every other attacking power in the game. It works like that so that we can carry a heavy weapon and something else to balance out the loadout while still maintaining the ability to use cloak for its team orientated functions.
Nerf tac cloak and you will see the end of infiltrator medic, and objective runners. who wants to do those things on a class who cant defend themselves while invisible and if they break invisibility the damage buff doesnt cut it for the penalty involved. infil is a class that works best with the heavies weapons on the game my cooldown shouldnt be severly hindered by the classes very nature.
so prepare to see infil who solely snipe, and never do anything else or just no more infiltrators.

Well me, its due to the fact that The Krysae is MASSIVLY over powered!

I think everyone should stop complaining about TC is not overpowered its going to make gold harder especially with the added combat engineers and more geth primes and the enemy objectives and object recoverys if the TC was to get nerfed, they may have to make the factions a bit easier to balance the nerf of the TC.

But Turrets do not detect cloaked infiltrators, and cloaked Infiltrators are generally your best weapon against them. That's the kicker, really: all of the difficulty increases affect everyone else far more than they affect infiltrators. Vanguards were always a little dubious in Gold, but the overload of stun-happy Geth Primes makes them increasingly hopeless. Meanwhile, infiltrators just cloak and run away, not to mention that their high damage output becomes even more valuable.

Yes, they DO. try cloaking and then walking into a room where you knwo a turret is. IT. SHOOTS. YOU.
EVERYTHING shoots you even when you cloak. TC doesn't make you disappear...just SLIGHTLY harder to see.
