What does this do? I've been looking for what it does and nothing can tell me. Does it just speed up ranged attack speed?

Yeah. Use it while your crit% is low as you can not get crits with it on. Later in the game you should avoid it. Just my opinion.

I meant the green enchantment on weapons, not the talent. Or... does the enchantment actually do the exact same thing, only without the stamina loss from a sustained ability?

I thought that it made you shoot faster while using the aim ability. I could be wrong though.

That is what I originally thought, but I can't find anyone who seems to know exactly what the enchantment does... any bioware people care to let me in on the mechanics behind this enchantment?

It increases your rate of fire to about what you'd get from using rapid fire but without the drawbacks, I'm not entirely sure if the two stack however. Although two "rapid aim" items won't stack, that I do know.

It basically speed up your bow shots. Without any sustained abilities, you'll fire at about the rate of the Rapid Aim talent. With Aim talent on, you fire at about normal rate. I couldn't tell if a rapid aim item stacked with the Rapid Aim talent either...sometimes it seemed as though it was, and other times not.

Reduces the Aim time by 0.1s per 'item power'. What 'item power' is exactly, I'm unsure, but I think it might be something like [Item Level/5]+1, Item Level being closely related to the level you were when you got the item (since many items' stats are generated the moment you find it).
Basically it makes you shoot faster, and the stronger the weapon, the bigger the bonus.
