Claymore is heavy. Claymore actually punishes you if you miss - you lose one shot + reload, if you "miss" with Reegar, you just correct your aim, like 0.5 seconds of damage lost. Claymore requires reload canceling for best performance.


The claymore also hits things across maps, and has better spike DPS. Reload canceling is inherent to either. Canceling is expected, not really sure why that's relevant. And you correct your aim with any other shotgun as well, inlcuding graal and GPS.

There are some really great suggestions in your OP (agree with the vast majority of them), but this one is the one I like the most. It's exactly how I think the grenade capacity gear should work.

Character Cards
-If the card is for a class at level 20 and all appearance options are opened for that particular race then it will be replaced by an appropriate-level equipment instead.
-Common gives lvl I equipment, Uncommon gives lvl II, Rare gives lvl III.

Would a Dead Horse Pack be useful as well? People with long-term grievances can air them out in-game. Just tag it with your favorite topic and cut loose with heavy melee!

laymans Physics Lesson. Electricity is not visible - what you see (in real life, and in Reegar animation) is the ionization of the air around the electrical discharge. The stronger the discharge, or the denser the medium - the more ionization will occur.

When things are ionized, electrons are ripped off the atoms - this state is called a plasma. Plasmas are very hot.

High Velocity armor piercing rounds are not always slugs that penetrate solidly through what ever barrier inhibits them. The Sabot round from an M1 Abrams hits with such energy that the tungsten (heavy metal) penetrator in the round flashes into a stream of plasma that penetrates into the armor - super heating it. As it passes through, the armor itself explodes inwards in a phenomena known as scabbing. Essentially turning the target tank into a self contained shrapnel factory.

It is very concievable that AP ammo in the ME usniverse works the same way, and that the Reegar, juiced w/ heavy metals from AP ammo, creates a dense plasma that melts through armor or causes a scabbing effect in addition to all that juicy electrical goodness.

So - how about we keep the Shredder and AP Ammo?

Oh my god, why does everyone think they know better? New weapons come out that actually do some ****ing damage and a good number of people start ****ing to nerf. Older less powerful weapons continue to get buffed and another good number of people still ****. Get the **** over yourselves.

How about posting something constructive. Or saying, thank you Bioware, for giving us free ****ing dlc and continually tweaking the game to balance it, even though you don't have to.

This community is full of the most ungrateful ****s I have ever seen in my life. Go get a job and you will realize how petty this all is.

Hm. I'm neglecting powers. They get replaced by nerf sports items. Footballs (American or European), tennis balls, dodge balls, etc. The dreaded Infiltrator tactical cloak gets replaced by... a cloak thrown over the Infiltrator so he/she blindly stumbles around. Also happens to players taking on objectives when they yell "COVER ME!"

Or maybe I've watched too much "Police Squad".

Phantom: Replaced Insta-kill Ability with Instakillability. ie. can be grabbed over cover.
Reduced palm gun damage by 50%
Removed palm shield and rocket feet.

Banshee: Now performs an animation before teleporting.
Instakill can be evaded by tapping Melee button.

Geth Trooper: Health decreased by 70%.
Added shields with 100% of original health value.

Geth Prime: Can now grab-kill players over cover.

Javelin: Ignores 75% of shield gate.
Widow: Ignores 50% of shield gate.
Crusader: Ignores 35% of shield gate.
Claymore: Now has innate armour-piercing.
