If Bioware announced one thing about DA3 that would make you buy it no matter what (if you aren't going to already), what would it be?

As an Anders fan, I'm over here plugging my ears with fingers and singing, "LA LA LA I'm not listening!!!!" at those who want him dead just for sake of hating him. But yes, it is important for continuity's sake to have somebody who is supposed to be dead stay dead. And if for example you killed Leliana because she didn't want you to let loose in a pot of ashes, she shouldn't appear out of nowhere. She should be in a grave.

Exactly. I'm not really an Anders fan, but I have no problem of having him returning if he stayed alive at the end of DA2, and having him dead if he's dead at the end of DA2.

Similarly as I said above, Anders might still come back if Justice decides to possess his body, provided Hawke killed him. Gaider said they could do it if he wanted to.
So basically this time around you'll be killing not Anders, but a spirit possession of Anders. Whatever.

Nice nightmare fuel there.  I think if DA3 has Anders as a walking corpse, people will be pissed.

It kind of makes me think of Morinth's fate in ME3 and the ****storm about her being a simple banshee model with Morinth's name slapped on.
I think it won't happen for Anders/Justice. DG said they might, meaning that it is slightly possible and it can't be ruled out, but I would find it so very cheap of them. However, he wouldn't be a walking corpse, but sort of a Kristoff II. Sounds like a king to me.

Just give mages another leader, like Wrex and Wreav in ME.

It'll be Ander's body possessed by Vengeance/Justice. We'll talk with Vengeance/Justice, not Anders. In that case, I wouldn't care in the slightest.

Anything resembling Anders in DA3 and it's see you in the next life Dragon Age.

If Justice possessed Anders' body, would he revert to Justice, or still be Vengeance? I suspect the former, as it was Anders' hate for Templars that corrupted Justice. With that gone, he could be himself again.

In either case, I would find it interesting to see "Dead Anders" returning as the new Kristoff. This could allow us to see the consequences of our actions, and likely a difference in the course of events, with Justice replacing Anders as a key leader among the mages.

On the contrary, if they made it canon that Anders becomes possessed regardless of you keeping him alive or not (that is to say, he went so far down that path that it was inevitable) ... I would be okay with it. That is the only instance however, and I am a fan of Anders too.

That would be a very interesting exploration of the so-called "spirits" of the fade. I can see them exploring the idea that spirits who become exposed to our realm outside of the fade could become corrupted by it, just as any bloodmage who makes a deal with a demon to augment their powers risks suffering the same fate.

I would be heartened to see DA3 given all the time it needed to be developed fully.

And I agree with those who have suggested it on this thread previously..."yes" to a return of full race options for DA3 :)

And to more Gray Wardens/the chance to be one again.

Nothing would have to be announced for me to buy it, I would buy it regardless because it's Dragon Age and I'm curious to see what happens in future installments. Dragon Age has had its ups and downs but not enough to discourage me to not buy it.

No way will I even consider buying DA3 until its at least 50% off.
Which given BioWare's recent track record will take 6 weeks.

Fool me once, shame on you....

That and Dungeons. With Dragons! Combustible Dragons!

What would make me buy it instantly ... hmmm, how about if they released a whole slew of hot companions that could be romanced by any gender (sexily) voiced PC :D Yep I'm there xD

EA has actually done that sort of thing before.

When they rushed Ultima IX and released it horribly broken (the worst I've ever seen), they then had it heavily patched, shipped a whole new game disc (with the patched game on it) to all registered owners, and sent them all free copies of Ultima Online.

Maybe there are other examples, but that one time EA did go the extra mile to make it up to disgruntled customers.

I would love a trip to Aeonar.  Aeonar is something I'd like to see.

Though hopefully not with DA2's art style.  I don't think that would handle dank prisons very well.

I keep thinking of things as I don't think there is just one that would make me forget DA:2 and ME3.
How about really well done secret passages.Have not had many or any of these.

The only exception would be a constant internet connection.

That was 12 years ago, things have changed since then.
