If Bioware announced one thing about DA3 that would make you buy it no matter what (if you aren't going to already), what would it be?

Where do you get most of your RPG's? Seriously, last 5 or so I played had real lackluster combat.

Hey how about no more bosses!

If you're not serious, then disregard this...but...

LOL WUT?

No seriously, please Bioware.  Do not go the ME3 route with no major bosses.  Having tactical boss fights in the DA series is something I've always loved.  Fighting a Dragon in DAO and DA2 was hard, as it should be.  I shouldn't be able to hack'n'slash them for 1 minute and win...and if people don't want to play like a tactician they can put it on casual and button mash through the fight.

You know FFXIII is ATB just sped up to to it's fastest setting and then set against a timer.

I don't agree that fighting a dragon is hard. The trick it make your tank face it away from the rest of the party and it's a piece of cake, even Flemeth. The general problem with RPG boss fights is HP inflation which leads to hacking off a lot of hp's. In that respect DA2 is much much much worse than FFXIII , once you get the methodology of FFXIII boss fights are relatively painless. IF you don't however, then yes you are in for some VERY long slogs.

If you want to see good entertaining combat DD delivers , great fun to play. Not sure it would work in DA though.

Not thrilled with the Broodmother fights.

The only thing about the Broodmother I didn't like was the waves of fodder that spawned out of nowhere.

I loved that the Broodmother herself could be rendered trivial by using appropriate tactics.

Again, I'm preordering no matter what.

But if I weren't and a friend played the game and told me that the companion interactions/conversations in DAIII were twice as long and detailed as those in DAII, that would definitely convince me to buy the game.

I would preorder this game unquestionably if it were 17th century steampunk with a respectable attempt to replicate (naturally a bit of unrealistic flair is expected) true-blue traditional western fencing, with three companions Artos, Porcos, and Artemis.

I would play that! Although if you took Artemis with you,you would have a master markswoman. Aramis is better at fencing  :P

Due to copyright issues I could not say the names of the three amigos.
But in any event you do need some firepower to give you an edge, though I'm not sure I want them to have my back as it were ;).

NO! your Spanish is absolutely not excused!
Which is good because it wasn't Spanish anyway, just me thinking up names that rhymed.

Oh,my bad then, sorry. And realized that porcos, the word I thought you have deliberately chosen to rhyme with Porthos  is actually Portuguese,so double fail on my end    Anyway, your game concept sure sounded fun. :P

I am probably going to get it anyway but I would love it if they brought back playable races (unlikely though)

Dear The Ethereal Writer Redux,

We at Bioware wish to hire you because you're just awesome. And a Dwarf. And awesome.

Sincerely,

Bioware.

Hey, I can dream can't I? Posted Image

But seriously, Gorilla companions. Preferably those that I can put armor on. And Dwarves as a playable race. And Ranger Specialization returning.

And a well-done story, characters, gameplay, and setting.

And Female Tal-Vashoth Kossith. Preferably horned and romanceable, of the sort that want to prove they can be both a female and a Warrior.

So... a female Kossith and a dwarven Ranger mating while riding on a gorilla mount would be... a guaranteed sale?

Also, the requisite naked and drunken Oghren cameo where he is seen riding into battle against the Darkspawn on top of a gorilla mount.

Preferably, the Dwarven Ranger and Female Horned Kossith would be mating on top of their personal gorilla, only to see Oghren charge past them randomly. Then when all the Darkspawn lay dead, Oghren makes typical Oghren comments about the Dwarven Ranger and Female Kossith going at it.

The sheer lulz the scene would induce would be absolutely worth it. It's so ****ing out there it's positively brilliant!

Do you mean no multiplayer existing in the game, or just that the one ending not require improved galaxy readiness in order to see?
