Now that I think of it, Yvonne is a reverse of Aniston. Aniston became mainstream after some roles in abominable movies, followed by a surprise popularity spike from FRIENDS.

Yvonne became famous from Chuck, followed by a role in a horrible movie (Killer Elite).

I've never seen Miss Strahovski act in any physical format. She may very well be fine but at this point I'd be taking all the roles I could get.

They don't tell you these things because they are discouraging. Hollywood doesn't care about you if you can't make money. Worst case scenario and she remains acting, she'll end up in Lifetime movies with Jennifer Love Hewitt.

She's also thirty years old from what it looks like. To many producers she has ten years left. She can just as easily be replaced by another cute blonde.

There were a lot of marketing dollars put into Friends, and it was scheduled between Mad About You and Seinfeld, which were the #11 and #1 shows on TV.  Aniston was the love interest of the star of the show, and her fish-out-of-water role gave her plenty of funny lines.  It's not like her becoming popular was all that surprising, although the height of her popularity probably couldn't have been predicted.

I liked Killer Elite, but then again I tend to like any kind of spy/assassin movie that takes place prior to the end of the Cold War.

Exactly.

You haven't seen her most likely because prior to '07, she remained relatively exclusive to Australian TV shows. Mass Effect and The 3rd Birthday are her only VA roles, to my knowledge. Since '07, she's been in 11 movies (3 not yet released).

Agreed. Especially since they've killed off the rest of my favorites (Thane and Legion). Grunt making an appearance would be welcome too. He's pretty underwhelming in ME3, even in comparison to the other ME2 characters.

I haven't seen Courtenay Taylor, Jack, say anything about doing more work for Mass Effect. She talks to her fans a lot so if there's nothing from her either they were asked not to say anything or the ME2 crew isn't in the EC.

Miss Taylor has said that she doesn't tweet about projects until they're released.

As I've stated before, as long as Miranda is there I'll survive but some content would send me beyond the moon.

I hope you understand that it isn't an issue of talent, it's just Hollywood being Hollywood. She's wonderful as Miranda and I'd cast her in a movie in a heartbeat, but that alone doesn't mean much against the Hollywood machine.

I know. I just think her chances are better than you're painting them. She's developed (developing) a sizable fanbase from Chuck alone. Mass Effect has easily more than doubled that. I doubt she's just going to fade into obscurity in 5 years.

She won't fade into obscurity but she will never be as big as she should be. I worry very much about people like her because they legitimately have talent and are cast aside whenever the new hot girl comes to town. She's only a few years older than am and I have a better chance of consistent work.

Take Roony Mara for instance. She's the new Lisbeth Salander and she was really good at it. She'll be good for the next two films and perhaps more afterword. The difference is that she was in a film that received a great deal of attention. She's also willing to do quite a bit on screen to play the part.

I believe you're correct regarding VA work.  Imagine my surprise when I realized she was in The 3rd Birthday.  The lack of her Aussie accent tricked my ears.  Honestly, I'm rather disappointed I didn't catch it sooner since I'm usually pretty quick on voices.

The people who romanced Jack are the ones who got screwed more than the Miranda people. Miranda had a small role but it was significant to the plot.

Courtenay Taylor tweeted about recording lines in ME3 before release, I believe you're mistaken.

She was being pestered about it when the EC was announced. She responded with a tweet relaying that information.

She may not have been contacted and that's why she isn't saying anything.
