She won't fade into obscurity but she will never be as big as she should be. I worry very much about people like her because they legitimately have talent and are cast aside whenever the new hot girl comes to town. She's only a few years older than am and I have a better chance of consistent work.

Take Roony Mara for instance. She's the new Lisbeth Salander and she was really good at it. She'll be good for the next two films and perhaps more afterword. The difference is that she was in a film that received a great deal of attention. She's also willing to do quite a bit on screen to play the part.

At this point, Yvonne needs a higher profile role than what she's been doing. Not everyone likes (or saw) Chuck, and even less people are into ME. With summer approaching (and 3 of her movies nearly finished with filming or in post-production), that's not too much of a stretch. At least she hasn't been cast in a ****ty movie released in January where you can tell it was delayed from a holiday release because it wouldn't make a lot of money.

Believe me when I tell you I'd cast he in an action role like they did with Ryan Gosling in Drive but I don't ever count on producers being intelligent with casting.

I think she'd make a great charm your pants off character combined WTIH a badass but I think most people simply see her as the former.

At least from what I understand.

NO.

WHERE IS MISS STRAHOVSKI BIOWARE?

Maybe she's too busy helping Adam Baldwin save Zachary Levi from Russian spies on a film set. Yeah, I'd probably go see a Chuck movie. It'd probably end better than ME3.

I don't watch much television because I'm working and it doesn't allow me time to get attached. I don't know anything about these people.

Adam Baldwin is a douche, and Zach Levi played the titular character in Chuck.

Miranda in EC would be infinitely pleasing for me. My one and only LI ever since ME2.

Again, it doesn't matter. She could be an Australian TV until she dies, she'll never have the publicity over there that she has over here.

If she doesn't fight for roles she'll disappear. She'll always have Chuck as something to fall back on but it doesn't guarantee success.

I respectfully disagree, but anything beyond that is my opinion.

I hope you understand that it isn't an issue of talent, it's just Hollywood being Hollywood. She's wonderful as Miranda and I'd cast her in a movie in a heartbeat, but that alone doesn't mean much against the Hollywood machine.

I know. I just think her chances are better than you're painting them. She's developed (developing) a sizable fanbase from Chuck alone. Mass Effect has easily more than doubled that. I doubt she's just going to fade into obscurity in 5 years.

+1. I watched the entirety of Chuck just because she was in it. I'm probably one of the biggest Miri fans you'll meet, too. I honestly believe Yvonne has a lot of success ahead of her.

She's worked up a fairly large fanbase with only the fairly minor roles she's had thus far. I doubt she'll have a great deal of difficulty in terms of success in the future, even with how Hollywood is.

Yes, well I've had the first season of Game of Thrones lying about for almost two months now. The Mass Effect debacle has had me rather distracted.

I have over one hundred pages of typed, written and drawn notes from this ****storm. I've been thinking about sending it in to Bioware to tell them how seriously messed up the ending is.

Miss Strahovski returning is only one of MANY things I'm worried about at the moment.

Kind of off topic, but you know your ending is bad when a decent portion of the fanbase doesn't even believe it's real.

I still haven't seen an approval of the ending that hasn't devolved into a "my morals and ideals are better then yours!" pissing contest.

You clearly haven't seen me destroy a hater.

I'd still pick Destroy if I could survive in the other endings. Even the Pro-Synthesis people have back off of me and decided that I do, in fact, believe it to be the best. Even Optimystic backed off. It has nothing to do with surviving, I see that as a bonus.

My years of reading philosophy payed off it seems.

I think I'd rest easier knowing Sheen was back for more voice work, even if that is unlikely. I'd be less thrilled to hear the star kid's VA was back.

Miranda and Jack can at least be shown in battle or whatever without VA work (although I would like to hear more from them as well)

Bioware needs to bring back Miranda and Jack. If Bioware wants to succeed with the EC, people will need satisfaction with their LIs and Jack and Miranda are among the most popular. If Miranda doesn't make an appearance, it will be hard for me to enjoy the EC.
Please bioware, just let shepard find Miranda

I've never seen Miss Strahovski act in any physical format. She may very well be fine but at this point I'd be taking all the roles I could get.

You've never seen Chuck? You really should. Its a fantastic show. My favorite, actually. Up there right next to Firefly.

Yvonne hasn't mentioned anything on her twitter. I hope she does come back, Miranda is an important character. Jack I couldn't care less about though.

It's a funny thing.  In ME2, I loved Miranda, didn't care for Jack.  After ME3, I like Jack a lot more, and have lost interest in Miranda.

Miranda 's voice actor has an acting career to tend to. I hear she asked for more money than most VA's got, so I doubt she will be joining us for the extended cut.

Above all else we need Liara and Tali. Blue babies and house on rannoch epilogue must not be ignored a second time.

No, you didn't. Strahovski isn't nearlyas big a name as Tricia Helfer, Lance Henricksen, or Martin Sheen.

If BW handle EC well, i think they might get their old fan-base back. Personally if there's a good ending the one with alive Shepard like Destroy ending showed, and a re-union, i simply wont care Starkid, he can be Alistar from Dragon Age or Justin Bieber, i wont care. 3 elements are important for Extended Cut:

a. Alive Shepard

b. Re-union with ME2 LI so ME2 will have it's replay value after ME3 ending.

c. Re-union with crew so whole franchise will have it's replay value. I cant play Mass Effect anymore because i know character dies or never reached back to his crew, so why should bother to play loyalty missions, waiting elevator sequence in ME1's Normandy so i can speak with crew.. What's the point ?

Has Helfer been in anything other then BSG that I may know of?  Of course Henrickson and Sheen are movie stars. I was happy to see them doing a game and a little surprized. Especailly with Sheen.

It's really difficult to say what makes an A-list actress these days. Who has really risen to the top since Angelina Jolie?

Drive wasn't an action movie.  It was good, but it was no action movie.

Just sayin'   ;)

I think you're right, Taboo - unfortunately, too many female actors wind up being objectified, temporarily used as a demographic draw, then discarded without producers investing in their long-term development and talent.  Angelina Jolies are almost as rare as Meryl Streeps these days.

As much as I care for Tali (which I do, significantly over the others) the whole lot do need to be back. No one character needs to be there above the others. Well, I doubt anyone would mind if they forget about Jacob.
