My hubby plays on the Xbox....... and some of the stories he tells me.... wow. Some horrible behaviour... on the flipside, he has run across some really decent people from time to time. Overall, though, I don't have half the horror stories that he does.

But the point is that you died and didn't help the mission. I completed it alone and then died. So bye Mr. Drellguard and thanks for posting nonsense. Image IPB

@TCG so you think Justicar is bad for not clutching wave 6 alone? Om, so how does that make you any better when you died DURING the wave with more teammates? If you ask me, your ego is inflating your skill level. A good comparison would be ice in water; when the ice melts the water level drops.

I felt his comment had a distinctly trollish.

I don't play as often as many of you forum-folk based on manifests, but most pug mics stay silent in my experience on xbox. I want somebody amiable and funny, and in that I am continually unsated, but at least noone is agressively antisocial.

I was on one night with no mic when a pair of adult stoners, antagonized a messed up HS kid into talking about suicide. They are no longer on Xbox live, some sick nut jobs on live, some good people too. But they should have a thing for adult game play only, teen game play only, and under 13 game play only.

They do.  It's called the Entertainment Software Ratings Board.

Parents just don't care.  They don't want to be responsible so they sit their kid in front of the electronic babysitter and then moan whine & sue the industry they exploiting because they are lazy.

I try to be nice and respectful to everybody no matter of age, gender, race, weapons, etc. I'll be nice to Mr. Drellguard because I think he's such a bitter person. Image IPB Killing 'em with kindness.

A perfect example of what is wrong with Xbox live.

You couldn't make it through wave six, what does that say about you? Were you out of medi gel or just an idiot?

Noooo. I could never play with other teens. I honestly hate my generation. Image IPB But yeah, I like playing with people of all age groups. Heck, I played with a great 8 year old who knew his stuff.

To are carriers and helicarriers out there, for you to lift your spirits and take care of your mortal soul:

The legend of saint Christopher
According to the legendary account of his life Christopher was a Canaanite 5 cubits (7.5 feet (2.3 m)) tall and with a fearsome face. While serving the king of Canaan, he took it into his head to go and serve "the greatest king there was". He went to the king who was reputed to be the greatest, but one day he saw the king cross himself at the mention of the devil. On thus learning that the king feared the devil, he departed to look for the devil. He came across a band of marauders, one of whom declared himself to be the devil, so Christopher decided to serve him. But when he saw his new master avoid a wayside cross and found out that the devil feared Christ, he left him and enquired from people where to find Christ. He met a hermit who instructed him in the Christian faith. Christopher asked him how he could serve Christ. When the hermit suggested fasting and prayer, Christopher replied that he was unable to perform that service. The hermit then suggested that because of his size and strength Christopher could serve Christ by assisting people to cross a dangerous river, where they were perishing in the attempt. The hermit promised that this service would be pleasing to Christ.

After Christopher had performed this service for some time, a little child asked him to take him across the river. During the crossing, the river became swollen and the child seemed as heavy as lead, so much that Christopher could scarcely carry him and found himself in great difficulty. When he finally reached the other side, he said to the child: "You have put me in the greatest danger. I do not think the whole world could have been as heavy on my shoulders as you were." The child replied: "You had on your shoulders not only the whole world but Him who made it. I am Christ your king, whom you are serving by this work." The child then vanished.

I must agree that the majority of 360 players I've encountered have been rather crappy. That among other things have caused me to lose a lot of interest in the game =/

Was no one using their mic in this game?

I was kicked after we failed on wave 3 of a Gold match. There was a low-level Krogan Sentinel that refused to advance with the package until he was absolutely positive it was clear, so I had to hold his hand the way to the extraction zone while our two other teammates held a different position of the map. They got overrun and didn't medi-gel, so when I went down, I didn't really delay the bleedout timer. The Krogan fell last.

They kicked him first, then placed a marker on me. I put one on the other non-leader and readied up (thinking they had done so by accident), then got two kick marks. I was dropped from the lobby, checked my Recent Players quickly, and joined back in before someone could take the spot. I proceeded to carry the team through the second attempt at the map and ran support for every objective; they kicked me immediately in the post-game.

I don't really understand why. If it was because I wasn't using a headset, why wouldn't they get rid of me at the start of the very first match? Don't be fickle about crap like that. Have your expectations and stick to them.

Dick****s. >_>
