No, this hasn't been pointless at all.  I've learnt all about Xbox players, about funnel cake, and deep fried coke.

This thread is win stuffed with more win!

I would say "don't judge all of us by the actions of one idiot" or something similar, but Xbox live is horrible. OP's story is pretty much representative of the Xbox live community... <_<

^Yep pretty much that .__.
the only profanity I've heard in PC was "Cerberus adept sucks ****s" lol
and I've never been kicked for shallow reasons

I feel sorry for the xbox community here :?

How many Phantoms was he up to in the end 10-20 had surrounded him?

Anyway what the heck are you doing up Flareon? School night, bed. No Funnel cake, suger will just keep you up. And for the win try a Funnel cake sunday. Funnel cake, powdered suger, jam or fresh fruit, vanilla ice cream, whip cream, topping of your choice.

Or if you like choclate, Funnel cake, powdered suger, mini chocolate chips semi sweet, chocolate chip ice cream, fresh sliced strawberries, and drizzle fudge or chocolate sauce on it.

Now bed.

No school for us New York kids tomorrow. But I should go to bed. I have to go out with meh friends tomorrow. Image IPB And there were like 2 Phantoms, 1 Cerberus Engy, and 3 Nemesii (UGH). Image IPB

Is that all? I am sure lag, glitches and a broken controler will find it's way into his story.

just remember, we need to nerf guns because your teammates are so good with them.  Make sure to make your backpack even heavier by nerfing everything for terribads to die every 3 seconds.

Exactly you and your two pals each got killed in the same wave while covering eachother. Leaving one player to do the objective alone. Yep one player used medi gel, you were not even good enough to get to that point. You don't seem to understand the fact that you are the one that failed. Getting killed is bad for the team. At least one person was nice enough to get you the credits. Had you and your friends not got killed none of this would have bee na problem, but you messed up and got killed and are now blmaing the one person who didn't

You don't get that it is on you. You failed, you were the one that got sync killed easily. You, not anybody else, and you keep changing your story, first one Phantom, then two, then and entire army.

If you were as good as you think you are you would have just killed the Phantoms and or got out of that situation. You screwed up, you know you screwed up now just admit it to yourself. Let it go because you are not going to win this argument. You know everyone thinks your wrong for a reason. Or did that logic not cross your mind.

Oh and if you want math, 3 people went down in the very early stages of an objective wave.that's three medi gel if your not syn killed right there. They did not do the objective. One person did the retreval objective, which means they could not cloak or run. They had to walk through all the enemies alone. No cover fire, nothing. That person should have had cover fire but three players went down early and easy. So yes when your only able to walk, can't cloak have a short amount of time and are all alone chances are your going to go down.

You know when you shouldn't go down? When there are 3 of you covering eachother. But oh no, it's not your fault cause ummm? How exactly is nothing your fault again? Oh that's right because it's you and your super special. Why don't you go have a cookie mr. special, cause it's always everyone else. Oh that's right your mad cause one player did not kill all the others and protect you so you could coast to some easy credits on gold. Why don't you practice killing Phantoms then you won't panic the next time one shows up and scares you again.

Now quit annoying the 14 year old kid, your acting like an obbssesed stalker. Why not try this just play with friends and let it go. You already look bad enough as it is, trust me, let it go.

Just so you are aware, your mistake is worse. The worst mistake you can make is getting OHK. So, yea. That's the point, deal with it, you're wrong.

Regardless it is your responsibility not to be OHKd. It is far from impossible to go an entire gold game without being grabbed. Please stop trying to sound so superior as if our posts seek to convince you of your own failure.

Honestly I've seen your videos and you're pretty mediocre...

I feel for the people on Xbox live. PC is pretty good as far as players most of the time. Sure we have our share of people who aren't very good, but they're not loud and obnoxious on the mic and most of the time they try to make an effort. I've had very few games where people flat out refuse to help teammates.

Haha, I can beat you for ridiculousness. N7 level 636 guy playing Gold, used a Rocket on Wave 2 against Cerberus to take out... a Guardian. He then used another rocket at a later stage on the same wave to take out, yup, you guessed it, another Guardian. Wave 3 he then used another 2 rockets to take out 2 Atlases.

360 players are so often so... stupid.

TCG - Personally, I'll always give props to someone for at least trying, even if they do make a hash of it. And he tried. He burnt through a fair whack of gear to do his best for the team. You guys may be good players, I have no way of knowing, but the fact that sooo many people have posted in this thread trying to tell you that you're looking at this in the wrong way really ought to tell you something. Maybe it's worthwhile listening.

Oh, and one more thing - I seem to recall a post upthread where you responded to Flareon revealing his(her?) age with something along the lines of "explains a lot". If you're actually older or adult, please do yourself a favour and consider how that comes across, and then consider that in connection with the responses the vast majority of posters here have given you. At the end of the day it's your call how you proceed, your life, just take this as a friendly suggestion from someone who actually isn't here for the laughs at your expense.

Welcome back! The thread was a lot of fun while you were gone, although honestly I slept through most of it. Have some funnel cake, apparently! How did you sleep?

The thing is: this is one of those situations where, at least as far as social courtesy is concerned, there is a correct answer. When the result of the match isn't what you'd hoped, but everybody had a decent time and earned some credits; when someone had to clutch, tried their hardest, and didn't quite pull it off; when you're in a match with people who understand the game and can pull their weight, even if their skills aren't quite up to your standards...

...those are the times when you shrug, say "good game", and get on with your life. Metaphorically speaking, I've started doing that in a lot of non-gaming areas as part of my current effort to stop acting like an arrogant jerk all the time. Honestly it's reduced my stress level by quite a lot; I highly recommend it.

So, where were we? Deep-fried Coke, I think, and yes of course it's Southern. They/we--I was transplanted to the South in my youth, and escaped only recently--will deep-fry almost anything. At a county fair in Florida once, I had a battered and deep-fried Snickers bar. The results were... memorable, at least.

I can back up this man's claim as a native; we may not deep fry EVERYTHING but that doesn't mean we aren't going to try! Relocated from the capital of Mississippi (state with the highest rate of obesity last time I checked :wizard:) to the north-western corner of Arkansas. Not everyone plays banjos down here but we are firmly in the 'Bible Belt'.

I had a chance to try a deep-fried Snickers before, but I declined. Sometimes it eats away in the back of my mind, but I'm pretty sure eating one would kill me...I'm not a very dutiful Southerner. Weigh in at about 105 pounds sopping wet.

Most people are terrible at multiplayer here. They think it's like MW3 where you can run around all lone wolf and win.I try to avoid PUG's at all costs. After being in a progression 25 man raid for WOW for 3 years pushing aggressive content, I understand the value of good teamwork.

That being said, I've put together a good list of people that I've met playing golds that I pretty much exclusively use when playing here.

I was randomly game forced into a Silver match on wave 3. Personally I only play silver matches with people I have had games with before. My batarian was level 18, two of the players had their mics on revealing they where under 17 in age. I was repeatedly told I “Sucked” because I was firing from cover and the like.

On wave 10 the two Vanguards where killed by a Banshee getting personal. The “Elite” Geth infiltrator was mauled by several husks; I revived him twice and thought it would join with me in the arduous task of kiting the bulk of the wave. It somehow thought it could melee the Banshee but lost.

The bulk of the wave still remained; I effectively got a kite and thin process going. This lasted about 15 minutes. In that time I had to listen to the main Vanguard tell me I was slow, sucked and played a stupid class. At this point I turned my Mic on however I left it on the table with the Mic on mute.

With peace and quite I was able to finish the wave and get to the extraction. Where once again the three died out of range of the extraction bubble. After the match I received a PS3 message from the main vanguard telling me I was the slowest cowardly player he had ever seen.

I can't speak for the 360, but I have NEVER encountered this sort of behavior on the PS3.
