Hi there. It's possible that I'm just unusually sensitive to being nagged because of the PTSD caused from being married, but the "helpful hints" that show up within that awful black and gold banner just drive me crazy. I mean I can understand seeing the message "press M to see the Map" once, the first time I enter an area with a map, but the instruction shows up every time I arrive on Omega or Illium and stays on the screen long enough for my retarded Irish Setter to both learn to read and agree that yes, it's kind of annoying. Then, while scanning planets for resources I find myself rushing to find that first load of minerals to prevent the game from nagging at me. Worst of all though, is the instruction to "press f to leave" at the end of a mission when there is still stuff to do and things to find and, particular at the end of Tali's loyalty mission, where there is dialogue to engage in and the "helpful hints" overlay themselves on top of the dialogue options.
So, in the interest of preserving my already fragile sanity ... can anyone tell me how to get rid of those banners?
Thanks so much.
Cheers.
