Yes, my original response was quite oriented to the thread, and was infact defending Sdrol. As people were seeming to not agree that the Saber was a good weapon. So I provided an example.

Yeah, and then you and Violet went on about your Claymore. Which is unrelated to this thread. 

The term "Your" you used, you make it sound as though Eagle and myself are the only owners of the gun, I feel like smeagle now. "MY precious! MY PRECIOUS!"

I would not attempt to reason with Sdrol, it's becoming ever more apparent that he's of kin to my father. You're not going to get through to him with rational thoughts and logic. "It's as easy as riding a bike" "That place was locked up tighter than a witches ****** in january." "He ran flailing his arms like a japanese school girl" All examples. Using one thing, to make another more understandable. That's what I did there. I was actually refferencing your inability to listen to what he was trying to say. It's got a slow firing rate, but I believe it's slightly faster than the carnifex, and it has a lot more shots (14 with the mod). 

Actually, slightly slower. Still out dps's it, though! Paladin out dps's saber, though, and is better for people who want cool downs.

I prefer carnifex over Paladin as Paladin (at least mine) has only 3 shots before i need to reload which isnt enough for my playstyle.
Carnifex has a bigger magazin letting you do 6 shots if i still got it right.

Saber is nice but definetely less damage than a BW. But its AR, you dont need a scope on it so you keep your awareness whats happening around you. The Magazin is bigger (8 Shots) and you have more shots carrying with you in total.

Edit: I gave a reason as to why the are comparable, I said that they are the highest damaging weapons in their category, they also weigh about the same. They also have about the same RoF if you know how to do the reload glitch.

I use it on my Turian Sentinel specced for overload, weapon damage and tech armor.
I named him "tech support".

Equip some distuptor ammo on that bad boy and use him in a tech heavy team and you are gonna have a good time.

Weeeeeell, *Trollface* To be the **** in this case... They both fire bullets. They both kill things with high speed projectiles. They're both labled with the same title of "Gun". I'd say they're comparable. OT: I enjoy using my Saber among other weapons, and much to others protest in this thread, such as the above post, refferencing it to a gimped Carnifex/Paladin, I still enjoy using the weapon anyway. It adds variety to the game.

Edit: there you go again, you want to compare weapons. Which you'll get mad at me for if I compare them, but I'm going to do it anyways.

The Javelin has nearly 2x the DPS.
Javelin weighs about 3.5x more.
Javelin has less ammo.

Okay! The hornet is a fast firing medium recoil weapon of sorts, low impact but high rate of fire. It preforms well, but sees degrading returns on ascending difficulties against armor, while the javelin on the other hand has single high damage shots, does well against armor and is over kill on anything less than bosses. Although it's effectiveness is severley hampered on gold due to shield gate and low ammo reserves. I would still prefer the Javelin over the Hornet though. I can cope with the low ammo reserves, I prefer that single high amount of damage over the low damage over time of the hornet.
