I was just playing a silver game and on the last wave, something apparently went very wrong.  My character started going turbo speed as if there was a power up to increase my speed, the sound cut out and when I went behind cover my character disappeared. All of a sudden, the game said I had fallen in combat and the blood splotches turned bright pink.

Uh, any idea as to what went wrong here? I've had zero problems with the game before this.
