equipment consumables would be sooooooooo much better than useless toon cards

i think it a quite realistic assessment that while we might see further dlc, we will never see any structural change of any degree anywhere in the game.  this includes the RNG system, which would actually cause them to lose money by making it more player friendly.

Thats the thing, we aren't asking for a change that would loose them money.  Most of us aren't asking for Ultra Rares, or N7 Promotionals.  We are asking for anything other than a maxed out CC.

Give us Gold level consumables if we are going to draw a maxed CC.  We don't want these to be in the normal pot, we just want them to replace maxed out CCs.  Its a simple IF THEN program.  If maxed CC, then Gold Consumable.

This is exactly the sort of thing they should be implementing. I need to feel that I am getting something for the points I spend on packs, (not real money).  I will take anything, even a single cobra missile instead of another character card. The PSP say's at least 2 rares, so this should be altered to say at least 2 rare character cards UNLESS they are maxed out, then consumables.

I may even buy packs with real money without feeling robbed. Does none of this make sense to anyone at Bioware/EA?

I would not be happy with a single cobra missile, that would be a rip off.  BUT, a single cobra missile is with more than a maxed out CC, which is worth nothing.  That is even more of a rip off.

@Qeylis

I promote because I would otherwise feel like I was being take advantage of. It has nothing to do with the rank. This game is rather easy for me, I don't need a level 20 character to clear Gold, truthfully I hardly ever use level 20 characters. If you want to continue to be taken advantage of then by all means keep your maxed character and keep on crying.

Why shouldn't we just buy our weapon upgrades? You can make use of the N7 rank by making the guns available to purchase at the right rank. Luck and gambling is bull. earn your N7 rank and then take the xp and get better guns? win win in my book. those boxes can stay the way they are. want ultra-rares? earn them by grinding. N7 rank won't have to be just a number anymore! weapon mods and character cards and equipment stuff can all fit in that box. For people who have the guns now? Great, here is a cookie, now save up for some ultra-rares N7 req: 3000. whatcha think?

Because the community needs to set an achievable goal, and asking for individual sale is not achievable.

BioWare/EA makes money off the RNG system, sot RNG will not change.  However, if we come up with an idea that benefits both BioWare/EA and the community, then it will taken seriously.  This idea only benefits the community, and hurts BioWare/EA

If we come up with an idea that looses money for BioWare/EA, they will ignore it.

We need to focus people.  If you have anymore ideas that won't cost the bosses money, please feel free to share them.  Until then, IF maxed CC THEN Gold Consumable.

what I didn't know you love your masters so much, they don't give you anything in return for your loyalty right? My solution solves the problem of getting things you want for the work you put in. Money is made all the time. People will still spend money to get xp cards for their rank, and to have all the items for their characters. the guns are what most people want to have, then let them save thir credits and not spin the wheel of crap for crap. holding to the hope of I do what master likes therefore master will reward get you nothing

Look, I'm on the verge of quitting the game.  Many of my freinds already have quit because of the store (and some because of bugs).  In fact, (BioWare, feel free to check this) I have not played with a friend in over a week as they thin out, and migrate to other games.  I am making a last ditch effort to save the game I love before the dissapointment of seeing a maxed CC in every pack crushes my resolve.

What you are asking for is unlikely to happen.  I wan't to ask for something possible so that there is a possibility in getting what I am asking for.

They might increase the drop rate of URs at some point in the future, but I doubt they will ever drop the RNG system.

Odd, so you are ok with the maxed out CCs when you buy a PSP?  You wouldn't prefer something else, like a Gold level Consumable?  You like those maxed out CCs that give you nothing but XP that you don't use because you don't care about rank.

Sounds like you should be on my side.:)

I truly wish - if nothing else - that we could at least save character cards for those we've maxed out already.
Being able to store the cards and make use of them during promoting would be wonderful, potentially remove some of the negativity surrounding their constant recurrence in packs, and give those without respec cards a more viable oppourtunity to try out different builds.

Why would we want this?  No one, even the naysayers, cares about N7 rating.  All this would do is increase your N7.

Edit: Respec cards drop often enough that you won't need this plan anyway.

Well I wouldn't really expect anyone to settle for a single missile , but the point was as you yourself put it, even one single missile is worth more than a maxed out character card.

If I had a missile for every maxed character card I ever got, well i'd have a LOT of missiles.

Maybe if we just stopped playing for a while, they would listen...

You know, ppl spend money to get better equipment, to play with other ppl.

If the fanbase would sudenly diminish, those who spend money wouldn't have a reason to keep doing it, because they couldn't play alone (they could, but it isn't the same).

Thus, EAware would be forced to:

A) Fix the danm problem

B) Move on to a new cashcow...

Since A is a lot cheapper, and takes very little efford, it's more likely to happen, but there's aways a possibility that while you are not playing ME3MP, you end up moving to something better, and not caring for ME ever again...

^This is the shortest version of that plan, it's actually more complicated then that, but I'm too lazy to fully explain and my english sucks anyway...

lol.  Not sure what your saying.  Yes, I really did have friends message me about not wanting to play ME because of the store and bugs.  Yes, I really do play ME less than I did before I started getting a maxed CC in every pack.  Yes, I really did spend as much, if not more on packs as it took to buy the game in the first place.  Sooo, please explain what you are trying to say.

I thought about trying to organize a boycott, but there are too many issues, and everyone feels strongly about all of them.  BioWare wouldn't know which one caused the protest.

Just saying if you're wanting to quit then freaking do it. just don't go quietly into the night. I'm not going to because there isn't a game out right now that I want to play. Bioware has a small window to try to save a fan.

But I don't want to quit.  I just don't want to be dissapointed by the store when a fix is this easy.  I love this game, I have fun when I play, but every time I buy a PSP and I get a maxed CC, I get deflated and don't want to play for a while.  You shouldn't have that feeling when playing a game.  You should always feel awesome, because its a game.  You don't play games to feel deflated.

I am certain that BioWare does not intend for me to feel deflated.  I'm sure want me to have a positive experience with their game at all times.  The store is not positive when it gives you a maxed out CC.

If maxed out CC then gold consumable.

Yes it does say something.  But I would like to remain as positive as possible in this very negative situation.  There are other problems with the game, but for me, they don't come with the crushing dissapointment that I feel when I open a PSP with two maxed CCs.

This.

The whole point of the "stuff" you get at the end of a round is to reward you. If the credits you get at the end of the round ultimately become meaningless because you get a bunch of CCs for maxed characters, that negates the reward.

Think about it in these terms… If you max out your characters, you randomly get less or almost no credits at the end of rounds.  That's essentially what's happening with maxed Character Cards.

First off, I have never cared about N7 rating. I was happily at 300 and would have gladly stayed there permanently had the last weekend event not required promotions.
But my apologies, having character cards do absolutely nothing is clearly much more useful than the oppourtunity to level faster for those that opt to promote.

What I bolded is what hurts the most EVERY time I get a maxed out CC. It's to the point where I don't even feel like purchasing a PSP with my credits... I'd rather spend them on the equipment packs because the reward for a PSP just feels so utterly meaningless.

I just think that if enough people boycott, and spread the word to STOP PAYING REALL MONEY on them, that the change would occur. Talk with people over your mic, if you have one. Chat with friends about it. The more people who do this, and refrain from purchasing these packs with real cash, the more likely change will happen. Spread the word, and see what happens!

The slow progression is part of the lust of the game, the random store is the main mechanic of this, if we get all the shiny toys in one month the excitement is gone.

YEAH, I know is frustrating, I was there like everybody else, my favourite sniper rifle on ME2 and ME3 was the Widow, I was hunting my first widow for weeks or months, the damn store gave me everything but widow.

Just play the damn game and eventually you are going to get all the stuff. Act like grown adults.

What is it about the 8%?  Can they not read?  We aren't asking to increase the pace of the random store, we just want the maxed Character Cards to stop.

Not that hard to understand.  No more maxed CCs.  We aren't asking for all the stuff.  We are asking that we don't get maxed out CCs.  Pay attention.

Easy with the jedi mind tricks, I am not a fool. No CC's means that you get all the shiny toys in a couple of weeks. CC's have a point, some people promote characters, the CC's earn XP to level up the promoted classes.

I repeat my point for last time: stop childish whining, the store is random, period. Play the game and sooner or later we are going to get everything and enjoy the ride in the meantime. Problem is some of you want it everything, NOW and with no effort...the song of the times.
