Tybalt2000, check your manifest fill the uncommon weapons then u will get rare weapons.True story..what do you want anyway..n7 and u dont have half of stuff..Buy VP first than SP and PSP! And u will not whine for cards.. Good day
filling uncommons will no affect on your rares. If you have all the uncommons, it won't make an uncommon slot more likely to fill with rares. I have some uncommons at 2 and 3 still, and maxed my rares out a about a week ago, and have a pretty good selection of URs....

Give us some kind of response please? Is changing the store even being considered?
Tybalt, please stop. They aren't going to respond just because we want them too. I've never seen them respond just because someone said "so what do you have to say about that BioWare?" There are more than enough people that are getting upset for them to recognize the problem. I'm sure that they are trying to think of something that will satisfy the monsters at EA, and the ME community.
Also, don't forget about the 8% that think that the store is ok the way it is. They need to find a way to make sure that minority is still happy when they make the inevitable change. We have presented workable ideas, but maybe they have ideas of their own that we will be just as happy with, and might satisfy the minority better.
A change will come, or the game will die a premature death. If we stop buying packs, the game dies. If they don't change the store, we will stop buying packs. If they fix the broken store, we will buy packs, and the game will continue a while longer.

The only way to not get trolled by the store is to promote-I don't know what else to tell you.
And yet, promoting would not solve the problem. I don't know what else to tell you, oh wait, yes I do!
No one gives an F*** about N7 rating. Why should I pay 99,000 credits, or 3 bucks (which I have done often) to get something no one gives a F*** about? Therefore, getting a Maxed out CC for a non-maxed class is still TROLLING! I'm not going to pay 3 bucks so that I can raise my N7 rating!
Also, how bad at the game do you have to be to say "Oh, I hope I get an experience card so that I can promote again without playing." The community should be insulted by experience cards (maxed out CC), yet a miniscule minority continues to defend them. It is amazing to me that anyone can defend this, but I am happy for you that you like useless numbers so much. You are easy to please, and you should have a very happy life.
I, on the other hand, expect something when I give something. A number is nothing. Money is something. If I give you money, I expect something, not nothing.

I feel sorry for people who cant get Ultra Rares, and I have been really lucky, I have gotten soo many Ultra Rares I wish I could give some away. It's only been a week and a half since the DLC came out and I have gotten a lot Ultra Rares. Some people got none in the same time frame.
The store is not fair, it feels like favoritism when you get this lucky.

You also have to take into account how lucky you get in the random store, that the store seems to hand out more Ultra Rares when you spend a huge amount instead of just buying 1 at a time.

I am happy for you Major. I have actually done pretty well with my draws (check my manifest). That is not the problem. I spend money for packs on occasion, actually, I've probably spent 50$ so far (less than some, more than most). I would like to give BioWare more of my money to support this game, but I don't want maxed out CCs. Since the likelyhood of getting maxed out CCs and nothing else is greater than 90%, I have no intention of giving BioWare any more of my money.
All they have to do is take out maxed CCs. They could add Gold level consumables if they like. I won't spend a dime until they fix it though.

It is just so incredibly annoying to get an entirely useless card as your reward in a pack; and I don't even have many rare characters maxed so I can only imagine the pain for the people who have.

Why do people keep saying it can't change? How sad and cynicle is this community? Are we all so crushed by the ending that we think that things will never get better?
Cheer up people! They are fixing the ending!
Or was it leeching? What a horrible thing to do to your fellow man. Make them think they have help, and then just stand there. Its like putting your hand out to shake, and then saying "psych". Did that demoralize the community so much that we think things can't improve?
Its okay folks, they fixed it (and made it an official form of cheating :-) )
Of course this can change, and it will. It may take some time (not too much I hope, don't know how much patience I have left), but it is going to change. Just keep posting on these threads to let the good people at BioWare and the evil demons at EA know about your dissatisfaction.

so what do you suggest? getting ultra-rares when you have everything else?
The MP is going to be practically dead long before most players get to that stage anyway, might as well let the small number of completionists have a reasonable chance to get all the weapons.
i second this... its ****ing ridiculous how i still havent gotten the new vanguard xD i got all other characters maxed, and it keeps giving me ****ing drell adept or quarian inf. cards...

Worst feeling in the world when you have ONE class maxed at level 20 and you get two gold character cards in the same PSP for that maxed out character. Makes you wanna punch someone.
i will be pinning a random BW employers faceshot on my darts board xD and throw a dart on it at frustration each time this happens... if my memory serves me right, it would have 2 darts on it by now.... rare, but frustrating.

well...i don't think it's sadness or cynicism. i have observed, during the several months playing this game, that while they make occasional ballance tweaks, they have never- EVER- fixed even one bug, or infact made any formitive change whatsoever in the existing material.
they have an interest in aquiring new business through new dlc which they can advertise, but no interest in concessions to keep old business which would cost resources to provide, but which they could not advertise.
i think it a quite realistic assessment that while we might see further dlc, we will never see any structural change of any degree anywhere in the game. this includes the RNG system, which would actually cause them to lose money by making it more player friendly.

Thats the thing, we aren't asking for a change that would loose them money. Most of us aren't asking for Ultra Rares, or N7 Promotionals. We are asking for anything other than a maxed out CC.
Give us Gold level consumables if we are going to draw a maxed CC. We don't want these to be in the normal pot, we just want them to replace maxed out CCs. Its a simple IF THEN program. If maxed CC, then Gold Consumable.
That is just one solution, there are many ideas on this thread, and others. This particular idea costs BioWare/EA nothing, but it would make them a lot of money. It will keep the upper level players playing for a while longer, and many (like myself) might even start buying packs with real money again, for a while.

I got six Gold cards for my maxed out AJ last night, yet another Kroguard, and Drell guard, and I can't remember what other CC's.
As I've stated before.... I won't spend a penny of my real money on packs until it gets fixed. The more people who do this, the higher chance we get of having this messed-up system changed. Once it gets changed, then I might spend money on it again.

The slow progression is part of the lust of the game, the random store is the main mechanic of this, if we get all the shiny toys in one month the excitement is gone.
YEAH, I know is frustrating, I was there like everybody else, my favourite sniper rifle on ME2 and ME3 was the Widow, I was hunting my first widow for weeks or months, the damn store gave me everything but widow.
Just play the damn game and eventually you are going to get all the stuff. Act like grown adults.

Why shouldn't we just buy our weapon upgrades? You can make use of the N7 rank by making the guns available to purchase at the right rank. Luck and gambling is bull. earn your N7 rank and then take the xp and get better guns? win win in my book. those boxes can stay the way they are. want ultra-rares? earn them by grinding. N7 rank won't have to be just a number anymore! weapon mods and character cards and equipment stuff can all fit in that box. For people who have the guns now? Great, here is a cookie, now save up for some ultra-rares N7 req: 3000. whatcha think?
Because the community needs to set an achievable goal, and asking for individual sale is not achievable.
BioWare/EA makes money off the RNG system, sot RNG will not change. However, if we come up with an idea that benefits both BioWare/EA and the community, then it will taken seriously. This idea only benefits the community, and hurts BioWare/EA
If we come up with an idea that looses money for BioWare/EA, they will ignore it.
We need to focus people. If you have anymore ideas that won't cost the bosses money, please feel free to share them. Until then, IF maxed CC THEN Gold Consumable.

What is it about the 8%? Can they not read? We aren't asking to increase the pace of the random store, we just want the maxed Character Cards to stop.
Not that hard to understand. No more maxed CCs. We aren't asking for all the stuff. We are asking that we don't get maxed out CCs. Pay attention.

This is exactly the sort of thing they should be implementing. I need to feel that I am getting something for the points I spend on packs, (not real money). I will take anything, even a single cobra missile instead of another character card. The PSP say's at least 2 rares, so this should be altered to say at least 2 rare character cards UNLESS they are maxed out, then consumables.
I may even buy packs with real money without feeling robbed. Does none of this make sense to anyone at Bioware/EA?

what I didn't know you love your masters so much, they don't give you anything in return for your loyalty right? My solution solves the problem of getting things you want for the work you put in. Money is made all the time. People will still spend money to get xp cards for their rank, and to have all the items for their characters. the guns are what most people want to have, then let them save thir credits and not spin the wheel of crap for crap. holding to the hope of I do what master likes therefore master will reward get you nothing
