It's not the first time this has happened. I turn Origin on, I start the game but I can't play multiplayer because of not having an "online pass".

When it first happened I just restarted the game and could again play MP with no problems.

The last time I played MP was only 10 hours ago and it was just fine, but now I have restarted my PC several times and it still doesen't let me connect to multiplayer because I don't have an online pass.

Is there anything I can do to bypass this?

Just finished talking with Support.

After A LOT of tries he just gave me a new code so now I'm gonna uninstall the game and download it again with this new code.

Sure hope it works and that I don't lose anything from either SP or MP.

Having this as well. Support just told me to uninstall and reinstall. First time this is happening after that whole server debacle.

It appears to have worked.

I just finished installing ME3 again but with the new code they gave me and I can connect to multiplayer again

Same trouble. Support says to reinstall the game without "Rebellion dlc".
Try to do so.

I got it to work just by reinstalling it with the new code the Support team gave me. Rebellion pack and all.

Reinstalling it did not work. I was not given a new code to install with. I was also told taht there is no Online Pass on the PC version.

That's right there is not supposed to be an online pass on PC, only on Xbox360 and also PS3 I guess.

I was only given a code after trying several atempts at other fixes but none of them seemed to work so the guy who I was talking to (who was very helpful by the way) said it was a sort of "last resort".

I may not work for BioWare but I'll say what I know

The online pass issue is a bug, similar to the Cerberus code bug that they supposedly fixed in 1.03, which worked for the majority of players, however it is not a matter of having an Online Pass, it comes with the code that you get when you purchase Mass Effect 3 for PS3/360, if it doesn't work, I'd say try re-installing it, clearing your download cache, deleting everything and re-installing Mass Effect 3 and Origin from scratch, and hope to the maker it all works, if not, contact EA, tell them what's going down, and just be civil, I know you all probably tried this already but, what the heck, I'm just throwing in my two cents here lol

What is this cerberus code bug supposed to be? I don't think I've ever run into it.

Receiving this error on PC may mean that action has been taken against your account. I suggest you e-mail ME3AccountAdmin@BioWare.com to verify this.

it's where you start up mass effect 3 and it tells you you need to purchase a Cerberus online code to be able to access any online features (it's happened to a ton of PC owners)
