I'd like to begin a discussion for possible changes to the scoring system. The scoring system is generally useless in the grand scheme of things. It does not reflect total team coherency. Mostly it gives points for damage done to enemies with a few points for other activities.
Now, not all activites can be scored. They aren't tangible things that a computer can see, but some stuff can be changed.
For instance, healing teammates counts for nothing right now. I propose that (assuming that 1 point damage is 1 point on the score card) 1 point of shield healing should give 1 point of score.
In addition, and this one may be contraversial, but I would suggest a score deficit (to a max value and never to bring the total below 0) for times a player goes down. I don't know what some good values might be right now.
