I was really disappointed in the Javelin. It's way too heavy and has too little ammo. Shield-gating nullifies it's massive damage. But I think the sniper-rifles are bags of poo on everyone but the SI. Most people are probably going to answer the Wraith, but honestly, I think it is going to be a great gun when it finally gets up to a high level. It is already a very good weapon on my Phoenix Adept at level 3.

The one thing I don't like about the UR's is that they are too heavy to justify carrying for most characters. I only use my ultra-rare or commendation guns on 7 out of 36 characters. My SI use the Black Widow III, or at least he used to before they Krysae. My PA uses the Wraith III. My Drells use the Talon III. My AV uses a scoped Paladin I. My human Soldier uses the Saber IV, and my HFI uses the Valiant on Silver and Bronze runs, just because I think that gun is fun to use.

BTW, the Talon is the best gun nobody talks about.

Scorpion.

I have Scorpion II and I just can't get it to work for me. Doesn't kill on contact and my teamates just end up finishing the mob.

The Indra. By far. It's horrible. I'd rather take ANY rare weapon upgrade (ok maybe not the arc pistol) over the Indra.

Is a problem with all OSK sniper rifles. Which is overcome by Infiltrators because they can strip shields with ED/Sabotage.

Alternatively, you can roll Gethgineer and strip shields with Overload before the shot. Only Geth that can use a OSK sniper.

The Saber.

It is marksman rifle that is too heavy to compete with other assault rifles (I'll take a Revenant X over a Saber IV any day) and not enough punch to compete with sniper rifles (Mantis and Widow, I am looking at you.)

Lots of people love it, and I am glad when I am seeing it used on my team (cause it packs a good punch) but the gun is just not for me.

I haven't been all that impressed with any of the ultra rare weapons. They are too rare to max is the biggest problem, but also I just haven't really clicked with any of them. The black widow on paper should be my favorite gun, but it isn't. I much rather use the valiant or Krysae when it comes to snipping. My Valiant's only at 3, but it just works so well! Love it!

Javelin - Nice fun. 1m of inherent AP is pretty handy and pretty nasty. Shield gate is a bit annoying, but that's why we have the SI and GI.

Talon - I've been getting 1 UR drop out of every 6 or 7 ordinary Spectre packs for the past few weeks and I still haven't got this gun >:|.

Scorpion - Pretty beast if you use Cryo or Inferno ammo. Easier to use and more powerful than the Falcon, but it also won't save you as efficiently from a sticky situation. Probably my second favourite UR.

Saber - It's not that great in terms of damage, and the Carnifex is a better option for most classes. But we don't use the Saber because to be the best now, do we? My favourite UR by far.

Black Widow - The recoil is annoying. It's easy to compensate, but it's still annoying, like having to aim at people's feet with the Scorpion. And honestly, it doesn't actually do that much sustained damage.

Wraith - Good damage, sort of like a "Black" Claymore, but it has a really awkward fire rate. I might have to try GI Shot-Melee-Shot on bigs.

Paladin - Pretty good for casters, with the exception of running out of ammo a lot.

Harrier - Good gun for Drell and MQ, who will be going to the ammo box a lot anyway, and weight isn't too important for them anyway. Crazy DPS, but like the Paladin you'll be out of ammo too often.

Indra - Least favourite UR. It's not really something that can easily get you out of a bad situation.

Paladin; nothing special about it other than being the usual "Magnum"

I like unique features, like the Javelin and Scorpion.

I replaced my Carnifex X when my Paladin turned IV ... till then I'd say stick with the Carnifex for sure.

As for the UR's .. hmm I tend to not bother trying out a weapon till they're a bit upgraded... but I remember trying the talon and scorpion and not liking them much, but then again, that was probably like 100 gameplay hours ago, I'd like to try them again.

Wraith, Saber, Black Widow, and Javelin. These weapons aren't too friendly to your neighborhood caster class. xP

Indra is horrible, only the Incisor is worse. Wraith is not great at all and I do not like the Talon

Javelin I guess, I just can't seem to do well with single-bullet sniper rifles. The Indra is actually the only ultra rare I really like, though I guess I could give the Talon and/or Scorpion a pass...

It's not really a bad weapon, it just has no business being an ultra rare. It's a heavier Eviscerator with slightly more damage and one less shot per clip. Near as I can tell the gold plating is the only reason it has such prestige.

Im amazed how many people hate the wraith. I figured it would be one of the ones mentioned more but wow there is some serious hate for that thing.

You clearly haven't tried it on a GI. Like someone else has put it: "That thing is borderline broken." (In a good way.)

The Javelin is the worst and by worst I mean the least useful, as it's outclassed by a few guns in the category.  Every other UR is either the best, or one of the best in their respective category.

Indra at X is a great weapon and a better AR than all of them.  The Wraith at X is a very good weapon as well.
