The Javelin is just not an enjoyable gun for me to use. I can at least have fun with every other UA, even if I don't think they are worth taking on Gold.

Saber. I just don't like it. Too heavy, too slow. Might as well take the Paladin with a clip mod. Less ammo, but a significantly higher damage output. It also sucks less when you're not firing from cover.

I'm amazed how many people complain about the Javelin's lack of ammo (the shieldgate complaint is understandable naturally). Sure the Javelin I has only 6 spare rounds, but of the 4 available mods for snipers, 1 is completely useless (the scope), and another one is not really necessary (the piercing mod), since it already has 1 meter of inherent 100% AP. So why not take the Thermal Clip mod? I don't remember how many clips it adds on a Javelin I, but on my Javelin VIII I have around 20 spare rounds with it, which is more than the Claymore X has without the thermal clip mod.

Why all the wraith hate?

It's easily one of the better close/mid range infiltrator weapons in the game (especially paired with the salarian and energy drain). It bypasses the shield gate, it has built-in piercing, it's relatively light, it has decent damage, plus you can get both shots off with the cloak damage buff. It might not have the highest DPS, but it's incredibly efficient for the infiltrator class.

scorpion. You can't even use it successfully off host, and on host it's not that impressive.

Scorpion for me too. Aside from its blank firing problems, it also weighs more than a Carnifex, Phalanx and most pistols in general which severely limits its utility. Infiltrators might get good use out of it but I can't see why one would pick it over a Claymore or Valiant.

Might get some people surprised but I hate the saber. Hate its sound, hate its damage being less than of same level paladin, and generally hate its feel.

Geez, am I the only one who likes the scorpion (while hosting)? Pre-Krysae it was a great AOE damager for reasonable weight. Screen shake can go straight to hell though.

Saber or Indra for me... I just don't see the point when there are better guns out there.

I have a Wraith IV and its pretty awesome. You only need one shot if you aim correctly, the fact that it has two gives you some leeway. Also, it reloads quicker than almost any other shotgun. It all depends on the class you give it too anyways. Try throwing it on a Krogan, Vorcha or Batarian and check the difference. People seem to forget about passive weapon damage upgrades way too much on this forum.

I use the Geth Infiltrator "Grenadier" build, so either the Falcon or Scorpion works fine on him. For the Scorpion, its all about how you decide to shoot those 7(9?) bullets you have. You can shoot them directly on the target or do what I like to do, shoot them on the ground/wall surrounding said target(s) and watch the fireworks. Theres no better feeling than "trapping" Geth Hunters or Pyros.

I think the most underrated N7 weapon is the Talon. Even at lvl II, that gun owns.

I know this is probably a pretty unpopular opinion on this forum, but I think the Black Widow outshines the Widow. Its fully automatic and is a headshot machine. I find that the Widow is really only great on one class (Salarian Infiltrator) and good on a few others while the BW can be thrown on Salarians, Quarians, Turians and Batarians.

Talon, can't stand the thing. I've given it a fair trial and highly unlikely to ever use it again, I just can't get the feel for it. I generally dislike shotguns but the Talon being a shotgun disguised as a pistol makes me hate it even more.

I using the scorpion while hosting. One of the most fun weapons in the game for sure.

The stray mines can be so much fun. I remember a game where I was soloing against Cerberus. Had just killed off all but 1 assault trooper, who was in the next room. He comes in and starts down the stairs at me, screaming "TAKING CASUALTIES!" Never got further than "taking ca--" as he stepped on a leftover mine and I got showered with gore. I don't know why but I laughed my ass off.

wraith and javelin

wraith lacks the power/range/ and capacity of the GPS. the GPS should be the N7 and the wraith the UR. the claymore and GPS are way better options

Javelin is so dam heavy and doesn't pack the punch of the widow X unless you get it high and has a delay. and with the headshot gone from boss's its even worse

my favs are the harrier, indra, black widow, and paladin

but the rest have their moments too

I see a lot of Scorpion hate. And before I found a good build for it, I did too. With the Geth Infiltrator, it's insane.

With hunter mode, tactical cloak bonus and debuffing from proxy mine, and you can clear an entire spawn in seconds. It's insane.

And I'm also seeing a lot of Wraith hate. It's the one UR I don't have, but I also really want it because I use the Eviscerator on a few builds which I would replace with the Wraith.

As for my least favorite UR, I'd have to say the Javelin. As long as shield gating exists, there's no reason to pick it over the Widow as far as single shot SRs go.

Javelin. So sad that it has so much power, but is completely outclassed by other rifles. Also it sounds awesome.

Actually I've not tried it with a scope, think I might give it another chance and see how that goes, thanks for the heads up.

Javelin seems to be in majority of least fav UR guns.  Whenever I use the Javelin it feels like Im driving an 90 ton tank trying to hit a rabbit.  It's such a lethargic weapon, it's not agile, slow scope reaction, delayed shot...generally it's a slow weapon and I feel stuffy using it.

Love the scorpion, absolutely hate the paladin. It might be because i'm a bit sadistic, but seeing cerberus bodies completely exploding is more satisfying then just a head exploding

the claymore....it is slow and ponderous and with my reegar, it is obsolete. The reegar can take out multiple enemies with one burst. you just line them up. my claymore is at X and my reeger is only at IV and the reegar still owns. I don't use it much now as it is almost a god weapon with a clip and extended barrel mod on.

My favorite is definitely the harrier. I LOVE that weapon. ext barrel and armor piercing and the enemies just melt away.
