Thats how much ME3 sucked. Its so terrible that I regret buying 1 and 2 because now I see with open eyes how bad the entire series was. Lazy writing is there from 1 and 2 as well and i can no longer ignore that knowing that its not going anywhere
Same here, I was willing to put up with the BS of the first two but now ME3 has made me hate the entire series(I've destroyed my copies of 1 and 2).
Why Do People Hate This Game So Much?

Why does this game suck?
- terrible art design: Kai Leng and his ninja companions, oversexualized characters like EDI and Ashley
- terrible writing: the Mars Mission for example :"Hey, we just found this incredibly conveniant McGuffin!", I wont even go into detail about the abysmal endings here
- Day 1 DLC, and "buy moar DLC-messages"
- terrible sidequests: eavesdrop fetchquests that would even be substandard in a MMORPG like WoW
- terrible questlog / journal. Why was it necessary to "fix" something that wasn't even broken in the first place?
- ME3 blatantly ignores almost all of the decisions you made in its' predecessors
- incredible lazyness: Tali's face, winter on mars, palette swap ending cutscenes, ...
- only one hub world
- dull and repetitive multiplayer: seriously, how is anybody with a three-digit IQ able to play this for more than a few hours? Horde spawns, you shoot stuff, spawn, shoot, spawn, shoot, buy moar spectre packs, spawn, shoot...
This game is nothing but an insult to ME and ME2, practically inferior in almost every aspect, it does in no way live up to my expectations.
Right on all counts.
I just wanted to comment specifically on the over-sexualization. The way they handle women in the game is just ridiculous, and mind you, I'm straight. But every single time Miranda shows up, the camera is suddenly pointed directly at her butt. It's just pathetic, you can't get through a single appearance of the character without the camera angle obviously being switched just to give a direct view of her butt.
Really makes you wonder, the spent all of that time forcing players to look at her butt, and phoned-in the rest of the game. Not sure who their artists are, but they might seriously want to replace them, they seriously can't afford protests about treating women like sex objects on top of their other award this year. Not if they want to keep the Sports licenses.

Because it removes any RP from and RPG
Because it rail roads you down a freakingly annoying linear plot.
Because Kai Leng is a plot armored space sue
Because they got space magic all over their artistic integrity and vomited R/G/B on me
Because I waited YEARS to get a ****ing photoshop done in 5 minutes for my LI
Because my choices had no meaning because they wanted people coming into part 3 to feel happy
Because they lied to me about MP, and a few other things
Because of the most atrocious writing I have ever see ever.
Because I have to play BEST FRIENDS FOR EVAH with Liara and coddle her like a little baby
Because of its terrible journal, "exploration", side quests, and bad UI
Because of DAY 1 dlc
Because of advertising DLC RIGHT AFTER ****TING ON THE ENTIRE SERIES
Because they removed Shepard's character so Mac the Hack Walters and Clueless Hudson could write bad fanfiction in the end.
Because of atrocious DRM brought to you by Origin
Because its MP is simple, unimaginative, and padded to make its numbers look better
Because I wasted sixty dollars on a game I played ONCE and have no desire to touch again
Because most ME2 characters were tossed under the bus to give more time to Liara
Because Liara was a giant creators pet that can dwarf WESLEY CRUSHER for that title
Because every choice I made comes down to some numbers in a screen that only matters in the end.
They make Cerberus so stupid and retcon their nature then indoctrinate them rather then give them depth.
Because they make most of the LI mean nothing then have Liara/the VS flirt with you right after it WITH NO OPTION TO CALL THEM ON IT.
Because it renders your choices moot in the end and leaves you wondering why you bothered.
Because they make did not treat every LI fairly and made Liara the canon romance, after the apparent mind rape
Because SPACE MAGICAL PLOT HOLES THAT NOT EVEN ALL THE ARTISTIC INTEGRITY CAN PATCH AGAIN.
THERE IS THAT EVERYTHING.
I think it is;
That is why I hate this bloody stupid game.

Yeah, they had Miranda, Allers, Ashley, Samara, and EDI all attempting to do that. Funny, because those tended to be the female characters I ended up not really liking (not so much EDI, but certainly the rest). It's almost like Bioware had to decide whether to give each female squadmate large breasts or an appealing personality, and all too often went for the former.spiros9110 wrote...

So the ending can't be the only problem, if there are two games with similar endings and the other entertains me 'till no end, and the other I can't replay even once.

Mass Effect Virmire Beach Volleyball.
I have to agree tough some female portrayals in this game reminded me of Team Ninja's and thats not good. Unless ofc youre some slobbering teenage perv who actually enjoys that stuff, the target group of this game too apparently, lowest common denominator.
Why does Bioware have to think like this, theres a way you can make good female characters without the T&A quantation and objectifying them. Like Elena Fisher in Uncharted. Wake up devs, dont think like stupid teenagers all the time.

I just finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the third time. And there will be fourth time, because there is still stuff I haven't done (like Pacifist ). Why I say this here, is that ME3 and DE:HR have similar endings, and that makes me even more disappointed in ME3. Say what you want, this ending was in Deus Ex in year 2000, and Deus Ex 3 has every right to use it, as had Deus Ex 2. When ME3 uses it, it is a sing of desperation and lack of creativity.
So the ending can't be the only problem, if there are two games with similar endings and the other entertains me 'till no end, and the other I can't replay even once.

Now compare that to ME3, in which the endings neither fit nor make sense.

Personally I think "hate" is a pretty strong word here, especially for a game such as this. Im not judging other opinions or anything, let them keep them. But this is why i personally do not get attached to any game too deeply. The crazyness that has exploded here since last march is like from some worst Star Wars or Star Trek nerd conventions. Everyday I come here at least 10 new threads have popped up about "how much this game sucks" and "how much the devs screwed up" etc... Some of it has been amusing to watch and read, but there are a part of the fans comments here that have been downright scary, the worst going into death threats for the devs, and I have to say get a life, you people. Its just a game in the end.
It's fun as hell to slam this game though. It's the VG equivalent of an Ed Wood or Uwe Boll flick.

I don't hate it but there are quite a few continuity errors at the end that really wreck the imersion.
ME3 also feels way more linear than previous games which make replaying it not as enjoyable.
More linear? Are you kidding me?
Different ME1/ME2 saves can make 2 different ME3 gamethroughs seem like TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAMES.
Of course some things have been lined, because the diversity comes in the range of ways a scene might play out; there aren't physical resources to perfectly achieve both.
And dialogue that permits roleplay still exists, in a big quantity, and a bigger quality, because now whether I choose the up or down options, they say really different things, and more importantly: GET DIFFERENT REPLIES.
You'd believe ME1/ME2 had more dialogue choices, but it's not even the illusion of choice there, as exemplified:
Random NPC: Shepard, I want you to go there ( line gives mission that you must do)
Shepard: - up choice: What about NPCX?
- down choice: Doesn't seem right...
What they actually say:
up: I thought we were going after NPCX first..
down: Seems to me you're forgetting about NPCX.
And the answer?
Random NPC: Shepard, this is a problem that needs an urgent solution. We'll go after NPCX afterwards.
Basically said the same thing and got the same answer, that's how ME1/ME2 treats dialogue most of the time.
Sure, it could help you roleplay a bit better, but the lack of this pseudochoice isn't in any way as detrimental to ME3 as people make it look.

I don't know what strong narcotic you're using but throwaway dialogue and cutscene fluff telling us why our previous choices all resulted in the same thing do not make a "totally different game".
Starcraft 2 (an RTS!) wipes the floor with ME3 and it's entire trilogy when it comes to a branching narrative and choices which result in differing missions you get to PLAY(It's supposed to be an interactive medium no?).
Enough with the fanboy denial. It's not doing you any good.
