Why DA2 Was Less Well Received Than DAO And A Suggestion

There is a simple correlation that determines the quality of games. The correlation is based upon sound statistical methodology and is nigh incontravertible. This is not opinion. It is fact.
DAO had a minimum of twelve halla. DA2 had none. DAO was considered one of the better games of its year. DA2 received more muted plaudits.
The conclusion to be drawn is obvious. THe more halla a game has, the better it is received. Admittedly the sample size is small. But the distinction is there.
What Bioware needs to do to hedge their bets and increase the odds of any future DA games being well received is to radically and dramatically increase the number of halla in game. Two herds of twenty each should do the trick.

It all makes sense now. Halla are to Dragon Age what pirates are to global warming!

Seems perfectly reasonable and logical to me

That's all I'm sayin'
Of course a griffon or 50 would be nice too. But not as much fun to yell.
Anyway, I'd like to salute you on your objective scientific conclusions. Who says logic and fantasy don't mix?

Increasing the number of cats and female dwarves in all of your games (this includes SWTOR, the ME franchise, and even C&C) will also lead to higher review scores.
Another valid point, I hope Bioware is listening to this

Hmm. I'll need to file this suggestion under "More Cowbell!", I guess.
Guess what? I got a fever and the only prescription is more halla.

Ummm....although,now that I think about it,that did not turn out so well in Alien.
The orange tabby indirectly had the whole crew killed......
@mousestalker : You made my day. Thanks

Maybe you could tie cow bells to all the Halla.
Or just replace all the Halla with Christopher Walken, I'd be down with that!

Pfft, Elves love Christopher Walken, he's easier to look after!

It was obviously the absence of nugs that caused DA2 all of it's problems.

I don't know, a lot of people didn't like Schmooples much, at least they made a mod to mute him/her/it. But I don't recall any remove the halla mods. I think the OP may be on to something.wsandista wrote...
This has to be the dumbest thing I've read all day. I mean a few wanna-be deer would not have made DA2 any better.

The halla were present in DA2. The term Halla head - New Elves, at least half of them were halla heads so there were more halla present in DA2 than DAO ...from a certain point of view.
The absence of nug is Varric's fault. He doesn't like them so no mention is made. There may have been 100's running around and...we will never know the truth. sigh

Actually, there's a reason for the lack of nugs in Kirkwall: they were declared vermin and exterminated 400 years ago out of fear that they carried Blight sickness. The mass slaughter of the nugs was called the Battle of the Squealing Plains.
You might think I'm joking, but it pops up on one of the loading screens.
