It is a pun... I know because I have actually had this notification...  Think on it some more.  It's just a round about pun, if you will.

I don't think you know what a pun is.

You get that that kill notification when you die b/c of ravager acid blood, and people were "known" to jump off of things and die while on acid in the 60s... his post was fine, noone gets it xD .. i didn't at first either

Oh yeah. Once, I was the only person left alive on wave 10, with a "four devices" objective, one device left, and only 30 seconds left on the clock (that last device was swarmed with enemies), and I was playing FQE, no missiles left. I knew I would fail the mission if I didn't do it right then so I ran a lap around the map to confuse some enemies and tried the objective.

It was going fine. Half way there. Oh god, no, an engineer spotted me. He's coming towards me. He's going to kill me, it's all over, if I have to interrupt now there's no time to try again. He's... placing a turret? Right next to me? Which takes longer than I have left on the objective?

Great, so I got to finish the objective just before the turret came online, ran around it, finished the wave, and we got full extraction. Whereas if the engineer had just shot at me, it would've been over.

Idiot.

Thanks!  I should give some credit to Talon's Press A to...Lose thread, as it's the funniest thread regarding the omni-button that there is.   I couldn't stop giggling the first time that I read through his initial list, and many of the great followups.  But it's all so funny because of its the sad truth.
