One would at least hope that the more casual game would atleast outsell its predeccesor.
Bioware is shooting itself in the foot trying to make games appealing to cod fans, while they honestly won't buy a dragon age game no matter how much fun teleporting rogues and Voice Actors are.
With all of the appealing to the casual audience for more sales

I'm really not impressed with the attitude that some gamers are more advanced than others. Some of the most intelligent people I know play Call of Duty and you know, that's okay - because gaming is a hobby. It's not indicative of your potential as a human being or a convenient box you can place someone in.
I play Dragon Age, Tom Clancy games, and Animal Crossing side by side. And I play them "casually" - because gaming isn't serious business to me. Please feel free to be disappointed by that.
I think we should all be able by now to appreciate the distinctions that make each genre of gaming great without implying that there's anything negative or shameful about being a fan of one over the other, or that there's anything stopping a gamer from successfully enjoying or mastering both.
If I went to a Call of Duty forum online and saw players talking down fantasy/rpg fans and labeling us as basement nerds who don't know how to socialize without foam weapons or a table and dice, I'd be crying foul all over the place - and I'd be right to do it. Let's all stop doing something similar to them.
OP, you may not mean to sound elitist but this is an attitude I've grown to hate on these forums over the last few months. Call of Duty fans are specifically and repeatedly called out to be blame-fodder for the changes the DA team made to combat and animation. Maybe they're not to blame for the fact that DAII was marketed to a wider audience. Maybe the DA team actually made the sequel they wanted to make and we need look no further than that for a reason.
