it is quite obvious the ladders lead to a room full of DLC, and the true script of the ending. They put it into the game so they thought we wouldnt check, oh but they were wrong. THEY WERE WRONG! NOW WE NEED A HACKER TO GET PAST THAT DAMN DOOR AND FIND A WAY DOWN THAT LADDER!

Trust me, the plot holes are odorless. What you're smelling is a pungent mixture of B.S. known as "retcon". It's a very cheap way to close plotholes.
