Agreed. You could add more dialogue when shepard is talking with the Catalyst. Scenes showing your decisions that you made in the series. Add scenes and dialogues that were cut. Have shepard meet with the Normandy crew/ Li in the destroy ending. Have Edi and the Geth live in destroy. Improved ftl travel that allows ships to go faster and thats of the top of my head.

Both of these things should be massive clues as to who is in the majority. You don't make extra work for youself, spend months and money....completely rearrange your priorities....to cater to a minority, no matter how vocal they are. No offense but after all this and people are still confused about which group is larger....it's kinda mind-blowing.

Well if this is going to be about the EC, you know some people are going to be going "YAY!!!" and some people are going to be disappointed, and some people are going to be "yeah, we can live with that." I'm just hoping not to join the ranks of the disappointed.

Who said anything about which group was larger?  The retake movement clearly has a larger presence on the internet than the pro-enders.  I'm asking what proof there is that the pro-ender group is "very small", that there are "very few" people who like the ending.

Geneaux, do you think you'll be one of the people coming back to BSN to post a review of the EC when it comes out? I won't be downloading it until I've seen a few reviews, and I'm forming a list of people to watch for. (Though to be completely honest, some of those people I will be taking at face value, and some of them I will be relying on their opinion in reverse.)

you can't just fix thematic wiplash like that though. going from space opera to some didatic art house show is not something padding out the text will fix.

Ah, makes sense, though my question wasn't really directed to you as much as the guy who posted about bioware making cinematic trialers of things not in the EC.

Cinematic to me is different than CGI movie quality trailers, but that's just me and my own semantics at work.

I'm just one fan, and only have the credibility thereof, so my opinion isn't worth dick to anyone.  But to answer your question I will be coming back because I love discussing the game.  All I can say is you don't have much to lose by downloading the EC, seeing as how it's free and all, but as divisive as it's going to be, youtubing it might be a better way to sample it beforehand than reviews.

My 2 cents: One of you needs to clarify what "very small" actually means before this debate can proceed. Are you guys talking a certain percentage or what?

every poll out there has the anit-enders at 85-90% and the pro=enders at 5-10%. thats what they mean by small.

Really a lot of people just having shepard meet with the Normandy crew/ Li in the EC is enough for them to play Bioware games again or replay Mass Effect.
