Those prove that you're not judging a product you haven't seen yet how?

Because I'm judging a product I havn't seen yet based on track record.

Informed consumer.

You're telling me you wouldn't be suspicious about buying a car from a company who is known to have crappy cars?

So Bioware is a crappy company thats what your saying and your using that to make an informed assumption
about the EC DLC?

Does no one here get the relationship between EA and Bioware? Anyone?

What track record do you percieve them having exactly?  If you think it's so poor that it's likely the EC will be crappy as well, then what were you doing playing the Mass Effect series even up to this point.  If you're like most anti-enders I've encountered that think the ending alone was the problem, then the track record would predict that the EC has a better chance of being good.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, that's the list of gaming developers that EA destroyed. I think he's saying that based off of the rot we've seen in the last two games Bioware has released, that the latest tree is now diseased and ready to fall as well. :(

EA did not write the script.

No sane executive would have signed off on this if they knew what the results would be.

Think HARD about it.

Please be IT.

No I don't want IT to shove it in people's faces.

I want IT because it's an amazing idea and leaves the dorr open to a seriously epic conclusion.

Bioware's track record with Mass Effect is what matters here.

Yeah, pretty much but it might be too much to ask for a game company that previously made epic games to make an epic conclusion like they usually do.  Or is it too much to ask Bioware?  Yes, that's right, I'm talking to YOU.

EA DID NOT WRITE THE SCRIPT.

EA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ENDING CONTENT.

In a sense, yes.

Just as Pandemic and Westwood before them. The cycle has repeated itself more than you can imagine.

OKAY, BUT WE SAID THE SAME THING WHEN C&C REBELLION CAME OUT AND THEN WHEN PANDEMIC WAS LIQUIDATED.

I'm not saying it's going to happen to BW, I'm just not putting a lot of faith in a company tied to the worst publisher of all time.

Bioware still makes money. They won't be liquidated.

They have FAR too many studios.

Yes but this EC could stop the Cycle. There is still hope.

Again, that's what a lot of us though about Pandemic...Who had tons of studios and was pretty much set after their Battlefront series took off.

Then EA just ran them into the ground, and they stopped caring about anything they put out. The stories didn't make sense, the endings wern't there and then Battlefront 3 was never made...

Just sayin', an observation.

Exactly, why I keep on coming here and why I still go to HTL.

This is what EC looks like in my head. I'm probably setting myself up for an angsty alcoholic binge after this announcement or preview, or whatever.

Man, the amount of "I know what's really going to happen" in this thread, both in terms of SDCC and with who will be upset after it's all said and done, is astounding.

Agreed.
