Lol at staged questions.
"Why did the statues on Ilos look different than Javik?" anyone?

Actually, that one was brought up multiple times on the BSN boards. Or are you implying those are staged-forum questions? ;)

Yet there are more questions on the ending around here than on anything else.

I'm fully expecting that whatever they come up with for the EC that it will be included ON DISK for the Wii U version. Heck they might even include the full "From Ashes" content on there too.

Even though most people who want to play ME3 have played it, Nintendo junkies might be the last remaining group to experience the franchise. They'd be smart to try as best they can to have a good impression when the game launches.

I'm still not sure how they are going to implement the previous choices and events from the first 2 games. They could do the motion comic like they did with ME2 and the PS3, but that just seems.....kinda ......horrible.

Comic-con needs to be filled with hundreds of Roid Rage Liara cosplayers!
And maybe a few Roid Rage Fem-Sheps

its probably going to be about wiiU, which is kind of annoying

also this particular member of the mass effect team is among the most guilty of not being entirely truthful

Yeah... it should be less subtle like in Silent Hill with the rust and the creepy music.

I do think that roid rage Liara did the trick, though.

Hmmm, Dragon Age 3 news would be good, preferably containing the phrase, "It's OK we've got it right this time."

As for the EC I think they just need to release it and hide rather than start talking about it.

I have to agree.  The less said about the endings from BW the better.  Beyond honestly fixing the endings through the EC, there is nothing else they can do that can make the situation better.  Perhaps they can start talking about the ending and why they did it after the zombie apocalypse.  No one will care then.

And why should we care, Mr. Gamble? The ending cauterized the franchise. I have felt a drastic reduction in caring about the MEverse after it.

It's going to be a preview for ME3 on the Wii U.

as much as I hate to admit I think this might be true. EC is what I'm hoping for but the development of that DLC is so taboo right now bioware isn't saying ****. ME3 on the wiiU (I...can't believe that) is probably what they're gonna talk about.

I hate to say it but they need to just get on and release the EC no previews and chat before hand, and let the fans decide if they are going to stick with ME3 or in my case (even tho I still love the ME universe) move on as with the current ending its killed the game and franchise including any future DLC. (There is also only so much multiplayer I can play while waiting)

While it's true that hopes shouldn't get too high, this is an opportunity for Gamble to get in front of a crowd and address the universe.  Love the ending or hate it, I don't think it's possible to avoid addressing the current state of limbo that the ME3 conclusion is in---especially if they start talking about bringing the game to the WiiU. I mean, someone's going to ask if the port will be the extended cut.  That'd be a catalyst.

Pretty sure they're likely preparing for that sort of thing ... if it's game-centric, and not focused on the ME movie, a new line of comics, OR the ME anime series.  I also see those three things---or all of them in one run---as the likely topic at SDCC, since that's the more focused tone of the conventuon.

But I still don't think they'll be able to avoid talking about the extended cut.

They'll be showing things off, that's for sure. They do have a game to promote. However, you and I both know dreamgazer that this is a VERY important time for them. The time is now.

The lead cinematic person has been crunching, and this was confirmed on Twitter.

I do agree. It's a prime opportunity, and I don't think it's something they can---or should---avoid. They're bringing a discussion of the universe to the public.

I also know, though, what the convention encompasses, and the steam that the external media has been generating over the past year. I know how big movie reveals---announcements, panels, secret screenings---are at Comic Con.

Still, the extended cut won't just be an elephant in the room; it'll be a giant woolly mammoth. I don't believe they can avoid it, under any circumstance, and I'm pretty sure the BioWare crew are preparing for that in one way or another. Especially considering the trend of Q&A sessions.

Yes, a woolly mammoth is a good analogy.

It's very much there.

They can't avoid it forever and I can't imagine that Mr. Gamble would tweet that and not expect people to wonder if it was about the EC.
