He has never even mentioned EC. They will most likely really just announce some SP DLC. Omega is not too far there.

Dear God, if they plan an announcement with Yvonne Strahovski, who has participated in SDCC in the past, I think the sheer excitement Taboo will experience would be enough to have him just instantly transcend his body and slowly float up to the heavens with a big smile on his face.

A more apt analogy would be adopting a fully grown, adult dog from the shelter, then subsequently altering its genes from the base level into some unrecognizeable abomination.

First it will show Garrus holding Tali as she struggles to breathe. When the camera zooms out we see a puncture in her suit.
Then it will cut to Wrex and Grunt charging into battle with other Krogans and as they run into the heart of the fight a Reaper beam annihilates everything.
After that the camera will show Liara look up at the citadel with a look of lost hope, she sheds a final tear before being stabbed through to stomach by an Ardat-Yakshi.
