this is a big fear of mine. that the ending is still going to be this "open ended" crap with the IT put in so as to pander to those that like it but still not give heads or tails to anyone. this "all endings are just as good" thing is going to hamstring them i think.ardensia wrote...

Do you think it's possible they will show a preview of the EC in a manner that doesn't give away whether or not they have used the IT?
I'd bet on it. It works in their favor to tantalize both sides of the IT line without providing proof for either.
Michael Gamble says "stuff" are to be shown at San Diego Comic-Con (July 12-15)

This is exactly what......I cannot possibly believe that they would be planning that.
This isn't just going to be just an announcement.
It's the cutoff.
One thing I will agree with you on, Miranda must be in the EC along with a nice shot of that fine a** of hers.

Yeah, and July 15th is right before my birthday. I wish they wouldn't reveal it right then because I'll be a little depressed on my birthday if it doesn't turn out as expected. I'd like to go to SDCC. What do the tickets cost? Does anyone know?
I have GOT to go one of these days. But tickets aren't too bad from what I've heard. Don't have a direct figure for you though. But if you go, you must tell me about it! I really want to go someday.
Tickets are INCREDIBLY reasonable for the sheer amount of stuff you get thrown at you. I'm pretty sure it's less than $200 for the whole 4 days + preview night. These days, though, you almost don't need them, since SDCC prettymuch takes over all of downtown San Diego.
However, getting a ticket is crazysauce. The last two years they've had to overhaul their site at least twice simply to handle the traffic from online orders, and the thing still sold out in about 3-4 days. (Yes, they're way past sold out for this year.) Two years ago you could pre-order them for the next year if you went to the con and stood in the next-year-ticket-line all day. Not sure if they did that last year, too, or if they'll do it this year.
I told myself I'm not allowed to go again unless I'm going as a professional. Or if someone else buys me a ticket.
Ah, the annual running of the nerds.
Nerd prom. Don't forget to dress in your nerd best.
Thanks for bringing prom into this. Now you made me think of a bunch of men and women nerds dry humping eachother.

That isn't what I mean.
You have no idea how awful this is going to be for people. This is what I was worried about AND warned about.

I'm going to be at SDCC. If there's any Q&A involved, I'll try to get up there and come up with better questions than the ones at PAX.
Knowing my luck, they'll probably schedule any BioWare sessions opposite the Game of Thrones panel, and I don't know if I'm willing to make those sorts of sacrifices.

They'll probably announce a release date for it but this means that the EC won't come out until AT LEAST late July.

I don't see how they can give a preview to the EC without spoiling a lot.

All I want is a release date, for all we know all they could be showing is the debut trailer for DA3

Not to mention it will probably be in Hall H or Ballroom 20A or something and you will have to wait in line for three hours just to get in.
J/K, it will probably be in room 6AB. It's usually studios and networks (Fox, Disney, etc.) who get Hall H and Ballroom 20A. But still. Be ready to queue up at least at the start of the panel prior. And bring snacks. Convention food tastes worse than the rations on the Normandy and costs more than your VI fish feeder.

Yea but why would the producer of Mass Effect tweet that?

Now I'm really confused, I only saw mass effect 1 have a trailer that didn't contain content in the game, and that was being able to respond and deny distress calls from noveria.
Serious, can somebody link me to this magical lying trailer? I'm really curious now.

With all due respect, game developement ain't a film set. Comparsion won't work between the two all the time (or even majority of the time)Taboo-XX wrote...
No. They have been Crunching since they began this several months ago.
The scripts were crunched.
The lines were crunched.
The cinematics are crunched.
You can crunch for MANY months on a film set.
