Lets share the Bs stories of banshees murdering us D: and/or escaping from the cold hands .

Today on gold, my adept pug team managed to survive to extraction on dagger. Being the good little pubber I am, I decide to stay back and retreat to the extraction zone in the last 30 seconds. The two adepts ran and camped the extraction zone. In the meantime, a friendly infiltrator was somehow murdered by a banshee within 30 seconds. After a minute, still camping my spot and letting the adepts take the agro , they die within a minute of extraction. I bum rush the extraction through the rear end using the ladder. I

A brute covered my only exit, still in the room in the ladder, charged at me and missed. NOW IS MY CHANCE TO RUN . Took out my rocket, just in case anything happens and BAM! A banshe teleports through the wall from the left to the ladder, and right into my face. I hold the trigger and .25 seconds later, I get impaled.

Me thinks if banshe intercepts you like you, you'll likely get stabbed.

On the last Op, in Glacier/Reaper, one of the Banshees on the field did a Biotic-Instagib on my Asari VG. It's like Biotic Charge, but from a Banshee. No chance to dodge, even.

Then the same Banshe Biotic-Instagib my 2nd teammate.

Good thing it was on extraction wave, so even if failed, we still have full credits. But ended up having a lone survivor medal.

It was on wave 11 Gold, so I kind of had my guard down because whatever you do on wave 11 is irrelevant.

It was Reapers on Jade. We were a little spread out, with me holding down one of the flanks. I look behind me and see one of my squaddies get impaled by a Banshee. I thought I could charge her in time to do some damage (and perhaps even get her to release him), but she was already finished and ready to do some more impaling. So the moment my squaddie hit the ground, I charged in and also got executed on the spot.

Quite hilarious, really. =D

One teleported in front of my the other day and because I was a drell adept I escaped pretty easily but somehow the banshee lasso'd me from like 10 metres away and impaled me.. Must have been a laggy game.

I was a Turian Soldier absolutely decimating Reaper forces on FBW with a Hurricane I and Armor Piercing Ammo (Marksman included). Everything was going fine until wave 9 when two banshees spawned right in the hallway near the back of the map. They rushed my team (who ran straight away\\) but I stood my ground and quickly destroyed one of them. As soon as one fell the other banshee landed right next to me in the jump. I saw this coming from a mile away, so I turned to start running and took a good four steps away... only to be pulled in by their stupid magic and subsequently took an arm through my thick turian armor. We still made it to extraction though, thanks my continued awesomeness on wave 10 and wave 11, though I almost got grabbed during both rounds.

Was about 10m (if not more) away from the Banshee and its magclaws pulled my in did me. Then it happily warped off to rinse and repeat with my squadmate. Yeah, it was a bit laggy game but still, it was kinda hilarious to see the Vorcha sentinel first start to glide from the next room go around the door into the gentle embrace of the Banshee.

I should have known it could happen as the lag was as bad as it was but still.

On a positive side i think i managed to free a squadmate from Banshee's grasp with Vorcha heavy melee, only to dodge sideways right into its accompanying Marauder firing squad...

My common death by banshee is the biotic impalement. She pops through a wall and grabs me instantly. The other common death by banshee i have is one will sneak up on me and gib me while i'm tunnel-visioned on picking off the ravagers/marauders busy trying to kill our team.

tbh though i like whatever they did to the banshees. they're actually a threat now, as opposed to annoying hags who get in the way while you take out the more dangerous targets.

( Firebase Glacier, Silver) Finally got to play with my Quarian Infiltrator and I was quite impressed with how fun it was to go against reapers as a quarian infiltrator. Wave 6 I decided to disable devices as the team distracted Reaper forces. Fear was creeping in as I saw squad members down one by one but we made it. Then Wave 10, it was retrieval. We got the first bag in and by the time we got to the second I was the only one alive. I tried really hard to revive my last remaining squad mate and she died due to me not getting there in time, Luckily I got the last bad in. Fast forward, after me having to fight two ravengers, two brutes, ambushing a bunch of marauders and running from a banshee the whole time with my raptor.

It was me against one marauder and her, down in the lowers part of the level. Even though I was cloaked she noticed me. About 20 feet away, I thought " Oh the marauder doesn't seem to know where I am, I can do this " Confidence was my true enemy. She warped once and pulled me in from about 10 feet away, all was lost XD

Never had a problem with Banshees, but on the first day of the new DLC me and two other randoms played a goddess random match. The two other players where using their new MQI and for some odd reason I was using a Turian Sentinal. Just not my usual class. So we got Reapers, and we were hoping to be the first people to complete gold goddess. Literally we all started downloading and playing the moment the DLC came out.

Well the game starts and it's the reapers, we don't know the map at all and honestly we where having a really good time, until wave six. The Banshees were pushing us all over the map but we doing fine, but when it got kind of crazy and we would fall back to give ourselves some room from the enemy things started going nuts. Those two would always cloak and mive and my slow ### Turian would always be running behind them. Well they would turn a corner and I would follow shortly except every single time I turned a corner a Banshee would teleport right in front of me and sync kill me. It happened 5 times in that game, so after 3 times we are all laughing because the Banshees are just chasing me all over the place, and totally ignoring the other two. But again it happened in the same door . I forgot to mention that it kept happening at the exact same spot. Well after the 4th time I was like I have nver going through that entrance again. So wave 10 and we are running all over the map and those two duck into that entrance again, and I run right past it yelling not this time b######, I turn into the next entrance and bam sync kill. "SOB!" Those two were cracking up. I have not touched my Turian Snetinal sense then, and I refuse to promote him until he overcomes his fear of Banshees.

On fire this entire game, got to wave 9 (reaper, gold, jade). Whole team got themselves in a sticky situation early on in the wave and bled out. I solo'd the entire rest of the wave and got down to the last 2 Banshees. Take one out and am a couple shots away from killing the second when suddenly it teleports in front of me and immediate picks me up.

Accidently push charge button instead of shockwave ---> helplessly watch being impaled while your squadmates watch yet another idiotic vanguard trying to charge banshee.

This was when I was still learning the ropes with my Vorcha Sentinel. I soaked up a Banshee warp bolt, I taunt her right in her face and then a couple seconds later her marauder buddy mowed my butt down. Yeah, never taunt Banshees cause they might just have a buddy around.

Oddly enough my dashing Asari Vanguard constantly charges the Banshees but so far has never been impaled. On the other hand for some odd reason she has become Brute's ragdoll several times.

I've been picked up and dropped (and survived) by a banshee a few times, think it must have been a matter of timing unleashing a power just at the point of being picked up. also been saved by squad mates after being picked up

Get knocked out. Awesome teammate revives me. Instantly impaled not even a few seconds after being revived. ALWAYS.

Infiltrators reviving squadmates right under a banshee's nose is a particularly delicious way of getting rid of team members that annoy you. I havent done this myself of course but have seen it happen a few times.

Been picked up and stomach punched my share of it but rarely was I around to save someone else from it. I have tried cloak+ED+widow shot and it wasn't enough to stop the instakill. Anyone else has experiences on what the damage threshold to save your teammate? Sans the rocket ofc.

It was a fine day at Firebase Goddess, we were picking off Reapers easily, when suddenly we heard a sharp, sinister scream. There 'she' was, a serial killer, the "Banshee", 'she' impaled my fellow squad mates, now they were on to me. I felt a shiver everytime I heard her charging, she was close but I didn't know where. I heard her move again, I slipped out of cover, only to realise she was right behind me...

I see a banshee I know the odds of death are up, but you can have fun with it ...a snappy "I AM NOT your type" joke here and there with a decent group.
by far my worst encounter was a solo bronze match(done for lulz and curiosity) . things went gloriously up until wave 10...nothing like thinking "seriously thought this might have been harder" only to be snatched up and given the hug of death.

My... "favourite" moments has to be when I'm backtracking around a small area, shooting one Banshee in the face... only to be snatched up by yet another goddamn Banshee that snuck up behind, said 'Yo' and hugged my.

Done that. Was playing asari adept all day, then changed to asari vanguard. Went to stasis the guy next to the banshee, but forgot the buttons were different. Landed nicely within arms reach.

Had one sneek up on me while sniping too. It stopped charging and screaming, so I thought the other guys had it somewhere miles away. Turns out it just spent ages walking up to me.

"Hmmm, that scream sounded pretty close, I wonder where sh-OH GOD WHY!?"
