Thats a bizarre reason. Suppose it comes down to money again though, why bother putting a match on if there's not enough people looking at your sponsors advertisements or buying their beer....I mean watching the match.
Speaking of advertisements, is that ad with Seedorf and Benzema swapping shirts followed by a bunch of other people taking tops off and mutating into other people with really annoying music, played constantly in every other country or am I being tortured needlessly? Also when Collina comes, up does anyone else find the look on his face absolutely terrifying yet oddly sexual? Like he's going to eat your very soul, but not before he attempts to make sweet, sweet love to you. I think it's an ad for respect or rape or something ridiculous. "I'm not going to commit a hate crime because I saw an annoying ad several thousand times!!"
Anyone hear about the Olympics committee refusing to put the Olympics on in Qatar because its far too unsafe for athletes in the heat there? Yet it's ok for FIFA and the World Cup, where rather than running for a couple of minutes players are expected to stay out in the heat for atleast 90 minutes.
