Well it's still correct. I am from England.
I am also from the UK (which includes Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland)

When UK breaks down into four separate nations (which will happen by the way), I'll still call myself Abraham_uk for reasons of nostalgia.

In 60 years time, I'll tell my grandchildren about what kind of nation United Kingdom was. They'll call me a fuddy duddy, and I'll just laugh, sheding tear for good old Queen and country.


Sweeden. Don't feel too sad. You gave us Englishmen a real tough time out there. It was a good match and you guys were on top form. Especially in the second half. Man that was brutal what you put us through.

Sweeden. You did yourselves proud. Besides one of our goals involved Beck doing the most bizzare unpredictable manouver in football history. He tripped into scoring a goal.

No way you could have seen that comming. I certainly didn't.

They did ok against Sweden but the defense is so crap. They need to improve significantly in defense if they hope to win.

But we always go defensive and it never worked.
The team have been trying to opt for a more offensive approach.
Nothing slows down the opposition from scoring goals like gals scored agaisnt the opposition.

If England doesn't break Ukraine, Ukraine breaks England. We can't let that happen.

Eh, I'd be happy if I could finish with at least 100 points in this pool. Interesting at the top of the leader board, until Kimo updates it again both OBaka and Harry are on 85 points;

However whilst Harry has got more right games predicted overall, OBaka has more correct scores predicted. It's gonna be a close one when it gets to the finals I'll put it that way.

I absolutely have no idea what happens next, in a few weeks they are going to decide if Van Marwijk stays on as coach. knowing that he failed miserably on this EC. The only thing that can be done is a complete overhaul of the team, try to change the mentality and change the tactics. I beleive If they won't and if it wasn't for the last half against Germany Huntelaar, V/d Vaart and Kuyt would just walk away from the team.

As far as what I would like to see.. Van Marwijk is a good coach but he is incapable of change and he did nothing agasint the problems of the WC, they were even less of a team now than they were then. I would like Pot (the coach of the young Dutch team) to try, he probably wouldn't even have selected Van Bommel, Robben and Bouma. He is more someone that rewards hard work in a match, so he would probably make more use of walking players like Kuyt and Narsingh.
Problem is that he wil stay with the youth

Except for Mesina, everybody got at least 10 points out of yesterdays matches so not much changed in the standings

Be another interesting set of games tonight. England can win the whole thing according to Rooney. (Personally erring on the side of caution.) Need only a draw, but that seems like a dangerous game to play seeing Ukraine need to win; playing for a draw would be dodgy. I think Hodgson stated that England will attack for this game, so it should be a good match.

Yea, I love that show. But did you picked that up only just now? It has been there for a couple of months:happy:

So far it's a nice match to watch, both teams are trying to keep the tempo up and play on the offence
