Also notice that Shepard's weapon no longer bobs when you choose the Red option at the end and idle there with the gun pointed at the structure you need to destroy. Perhaps it is symbolic of his newfound freedom from indoctrination and both his resolve and resistance to the Reapers ideals.

You have nothing to compare it with, and it is likely that if the gun was used to shoot to get Control or Synthesis to work, there would be no bob as well because that is the default

They had a completely different ending in mind when they made the Arrival DLC.
That's why it ended up being utterly irrelevant.

How do you know?

It is considerably worse after Shepard is hit by the beam. The bobbing in the London mission seems very similar to that you find in other missions of ME

Actually, I'm on one of the Rannoch missions right now. No bobbing at all.
Can you actually prove there are other missions with weapon bobbing or are you just making stuff up?

They were still following the Dark Energy plot back then.

Most obvious give-away IT thing. Well done OP!

If anyone thinks its anything different, they're the ones that are delusional and makes up silly excuses.

Please tell me your joking...

If not, then I will sigh and ask again this question:

Why in ME2 arrival the weapon bobbing didn't happen when Harbinger tried to take control of Shep?

Ah, Sauruz, you're just ticked that after all this time you realise you've had a Quarian as an avatar, admit it.

I was an unmasked Quarian before it was cool.
And the fact that I played through DAO with a Quarian just further proves that ME and DA are connected.
I've always been thinking Diana Allers looks like an evolved, humanoid version of a Mabari.

I will see if I can provide some video evidence.

How do you know they were following the Dark Energy plot? There is no evidence that Dark Energy was ever actually implemented in the game or that it got on from being at the stage of being considered

Look at the sig, not joking.

*sign* This could also be the effects of Shep almost being blown to hell you know. Bah, whatever think what you want.

Looks like somebody thought a handheld camera effect would be fitting emphasis for the tone of the mission.

This fits intoxication theory better. You try walking straight after binging on krogan ale.

You guys never awnsered the quetion on how the theory fits if your Shepard doesn't drink.

Doesn't the Carnifex make a hissing sound when Shep shoots the off switch in destroy? When the heck does it make that sound in the game? I'm curious because I can't hear it when at any other point in the game.

So... there are odd voices from a pistol  only when you shoot the tube. So the hellucination is probobly even stronger in destroy.

I think the IT supporters read their own theory a bit wrong...

Supposedly Shepard is using a different gun at the end. Not sure of the link, but there is a video on youtube showing that, after the switch starts to explode, the gun changes. The way shep reloads/shoots is the same as the other gun and not the one he appears to hold. I dunno if this other gun makes a hissing noise and I forget which one it is, sorry :(

Meh. It's just strange why a hissing sound is even made at that point. I never heard it before when Shep fired the Carnifex. Aside from reloading but you never see that happen. Even though Shep went way over the ammo limit (6 shots I think it makes before reloading?)-_-

I encountered something similar during ME1 on the side mission where you find Admiral Kahoku dead in one of the three Cerberus labs on that one planet. This was back when we knew nothing about Cerberus's connection to the Reapers.

I noticed the "cursor bobbing" after I killed all the people in the first Cerberus research lab, and then it kept going the whole time on that planet, in both of the other Cerberus labs as well. It only stopped when I went back to the Normandy. It may have been some sort of glitch, but perhaps someone else could try it out?

You can't tell anyone that they don't know anything about Mass Effect when the evidence You have is clearly false.

OP.. This is... Odd. I mean, first I thought you meant after Harbinger's laser (which, let's face it, exhausted and nearly killed Shepard), but if it's on Earth from the moment you set down?

If there is a reason for it, I'm betting it's either a random bug/testing problem, or someone at Bioware wanting to add to the ambiance of Earth by making it that much more survival horror feeling than the rest of the game (or the weight of Shepard's mission is making him/her nervous).

As for the Carnifax.. I admit I'm slightly deaf, but earing headphones it sounds to me as the exact same noise that it makes in Multiplayer, albeit with the sound of the glass breaking as well.
