Whichever two characters have the best confrontation in ME3.

Oh, wait. That's right. They all have ESP and magically know you've talked to someone and are totally fine with it regardless if you romanced them in the previous games (or on the romance track with them in ME3).

The only ones that have confrontations are Tali, Liara and Ashley when heading to the dreadnaught. It's like they were going to have confrontations but never completely implemented it.

FemShep: Thane..yes it's a valid choice since technically the romance didn't count as a romance in ME3, so it invalidates the whole romance. I'd like to put Thane back on the table. And if preferable, I'd like him alive..as a dead one is just well...gross.

If that is not satisfactory then I'm throwing in my lot for Kai Leng.

Sheploo...EDI...just because my Sheploo is a jerk who would totally do EDI because he knows what Joker plans to do at the end.

The dialogue being the same is proof, actually. After saying that the most intimate thing a quarian can do is to link suit environments, she says that Shep is the only one she trusts that much regardless of what gender Shep is. And no amount of trying to handwave away the Shadow Broker dossier on her can or will change the fact that it's exactly the same for FemShep as for Sheploo.

So Tali for FemShep, and Kasumi for Sheploo.
