As for impersonating accents, I can't do any actual accents, but I live in Kentucky, and can be a very good redneck.
That accent..

I can't believe some of you guys like American accents. We're so boring. All of our words come out the same. English and Irish accents are my favorite, and I imagine you guys sound boring to yourselves too.

Hmm, I don't like American English as it sounds kinda 'flat' sometimes. Don't like British English either, as it sometimes sounds a bit overdone and pompous. I think I like Irish and Scottish accents best. Nothing can beat Italian, though.

People tend to often think of the Hollywood versions of accents.

For some twisted/weird reason, english accents turn me on... unfortunately, the only accent I can do is mine (Brazilian) and that "Mario" Italian accent.

Irish is a fun fake speak one..... One line should suffice your question.
My favorite accent should be a latina Accent from the women. I love it when the women speak english or spanish but the way it is said is so so so so so sexy. My last was a latina. I would get her pissed off just so that she could insult me in spanish, it was so amazing! I am so in love with the accent that i have watched spanglish(adam sandler) movie 7 times. I hate that movie. If a latina woman is able to combine her body language with that accent then i am completely blown away

German would have to be my favourite faux-accent.
With Russian a close second. I used to do faux-Scottish accents for dwarven characters in my D&D games, but my players consistently told me that I sucked at those, so I gave up. XD

That's probably what most people would identify as "the standard American accent", I'd guess, in much the same way that BBC English is "the standard English accent" (not that there's such a thing in either case, but it's the way people often tend to see it.) But in both cases there's still a definite accent since everyone has one: for example the apparently unaccented American you mention would still strike me as being an obvious American accent.slimgrin wrote...
I can't imagine being enamoured with American accents. In the west for example, there isn't really an accent to speak of.
Edit: which is probably me replying to a point you weren't making. Oops.
Dunno what my favourite is: probably the area where I grew up (Geordie, a north east English accent), where I didn't think much of it until we moved away, at which point I ended up missing it quite a lot.
Best fake accent has to be Terry Gilliam's Frenchman from the Holy Grail: I wish I could do that one!

Hmmm.
Irish (Rob Sheehan), British (Tom Hardy) and Italian (think Ezio!) are sexy, though it generally depends on the person speaking. I currently have a bit of a thing for a certain person's American accent... Nick-bro, you know who...

I hate it when people try to do a fake German or Dutch accent and totally miss the mark. Most English or American people have no idea how a Dutch or German accent truly sounds like.
I remember seeing Austin Powers: Gold Member. I was annoyed how fake and wrong that accent of Gold Member sounded, but it was extremely funny at the same time.
Anyway, my favorite accent is Orkish (sounds like a Manchester accent).
