Even since the beginning of this game, sometimes trying to join with a specific map selected ends up sending the player to a random which is NOT that map, or to the wrong map. Exiting the random, and running the join again, I end up back in the same lobby! So it is NOT a case of their map just changing. And in the case of being sent to the wrong map of an in-progress game, there is no possibility that they changed maps during the match. Ever since the patch for N7 matching, the rate of this happening has gone way up. I might be able to join the map I selected 2/3 of the time, and the rest it sends me to the wrong lobby or wrong in-progress game. So it works sometimes, and not other times. When will this be fixed? It has been broken since the game began, and become more broken recently. Nope, deleting temporary files is not the key, nor is rebooting, nor sacrificing a chicken or goat and doing a ritual dance. Will someone PLEASE fix this??

Is there a workaround where I can pick a particular map? Re-joining just sends me to the same wrong team.

I'm having the same problem too.
None of the matchmaking filters work, at all. I can switch the difficulty, map, or enemy type to any of the available options and I will never be placed in a lobby with said filters. With that said, I've been seeing the same maps in rotation in just about every lobby; White, Glacier, Reactor. Haven't seen a single map from Resurgance, Rebellion, or any of the other remaining non-DLC maps.

I've found I keep going back to the same lobby if I get the wrong one and try to join again. Apparently the server side caching is completely wrong/broken. If I then switch to trying to join a different map, but cancel real quick, I can get out of that particular lobby. Problem is, I often end up in the wrong lobby again...just a different "wrong" lobby. Whatever the server thinks the lobbies are set for is complete fantasy. Well, sometimes I get the right one. But since the patch, the error has gone up. Nope, local temp files are not at fault.
