Hey, I've got a bit of a strange problem, allow me to start at the begining.
I'm a bit of a ME nut, have been since I played ME2 on the PS3, got my friend into it & he bought & played ME1 on the p.c, I've recently got hold of a laptop that can run ME1 & after my friend completed the game he passed it to me (so I can be a bit of a completionist), I've installed it, yet everytime I select 'play' or 'configuration' from the start menu I get a message saying 'the configuration utility has stopped' does anyone know how to fix this?
My friend's copy was celophaned when he got it & he has only installed it on his system, but I will ask, can ME1 p.c only run on 1 system.

Hi, I had the exact same problem as you, right up to approx. 3 minutes ago. You need to download a patch.
