Just followed their instructions to upgrade the Toolset

All seamed fine until tried to export stuff and got this error message

E: 13:33:00 - sys_traps_h.nss - sys_traps_h.nss(1521): No right bracket on expression (while compiling placeable_h.nss)

Don't they even check their scripts

I'm getting the same thing. Can anyone who has updated run a full export, and see if you get the same thing?

I have no problems exporting with the new toolset. The things I get are a couple of warnings about dialog beyond VO and missing soundsets for characters, but no fails on the export and nothing like you guys are reporting.

Were you doing the export from inside the single player campaign ? I did the export above from inside the demo module if that makes a difference. My own mod(very unfinished lol) also exports without any errors or warnings, but only consists of some areas, a map, a couple plots and very basic scripting atm.

I do remember reading somewhere else about this error previously(sys_traps_h miscompiling), but Im sorry I cant remember in which thread, I do think it was something simple though that ended up being the cause from memory. Sorry I cant be more help.

I exported a test of Arms and Armor and got no errors. The mod still isn't working, but it EXPORTED, at least....

Well I didn't run into those issues, and God knows how many times I exported my stuff since yesterday. However I do have the habit of staying away from Full Exports, so that may not be relevant...

Got mime working by removing placeable_h and fitting as needed

I had a problem of the modules still not being picked up by the system. This was because (I thnk) the game was trying to reference the old module (I had two entries in the DLC panel) , checked one , the other checked, etc.

I deacivated the modules in the game , deleted the firectory in the addins directory , and reinstalled the bloody toolkit - I then created a dummy module (Noticed first attempt didn't put a module in the Manage Modules) - them pulled the stuff back in - SEams to work -

Only issues now - I still have two entrys in the DLC tab but thankfully one is checked off and the I have to do a Force Load - after that it seams to work - I am hoping when I delete old games the old module will disapear

Hey nn125, you seem to have already fixed your issue, but for me, patching to game version 1.02 fixed it for me. Seems there was a function in sys_traps_h that was just added in the latest game patch.
