Has it ever been established if an Asari in the "maiden stage" of her life can even have children? I thought they didn't become fertile until their "matron stage" which is still several hundred years away.

Besides, everyone knows that ME4 should star Legion 2.0...

Just for YOU, Ryzaki.

No.

A new low has been reached ladies and gentlemen. Not content with presenting something that would only be enjoyed by a single fanbase, TBE managed to exclude MaleShepards who romanced Liara from it as well.

No.

This is how you say no!

Non-human, yes. Choice, even better. Somebody-important-From-ME1/2/3's kid, no.

And don't think about generalizing the idea to be a choice between Liara/Garrus/Shepard/Human-LI's child as different races age differently. I had the argument in one thread, 35 years is grown up able human/turian, but a 35 year old asari still have 15-20 years left of her childhood.

Again, No.

I play a Femshep who preffers being the female in any relationship like that (IE Childbearer), so while she thinks Liara might be tempting, she wouldn't enter into such a relationship with Liara.

Of the 2 Malesheps I have, One had the hots for Tali, and the other, well....  Ash got to him first:P

Liara was a BW's and a lot of fans' favorite throughout all three games, that was enough, now let's move to brand new characters, and not canonize Shepard's gender, and way less canonize Liara's romance. Please.

No. I'm already unlikely to pre-order the next ME game, but that would just prevent me from buying it outright.

Either Shep being canonized is bleh and Liara romance being canonized (or her stealing Shep's genetic material) is ick of the highest order.

I'd love to play as an alien in the next ME singleplayer game (krogan or asari would be great), but it doesn't have to be Liara's daughter...which is very unlikely anyway. Casey Hudson has said that he didn't want future stories set after the events of ME3. I support Charr's and Ereba's daughter as the next protagonist if they change their minds :P

I hate asari (no, I'm not homophobic or a Liara hater, just hate their culture and the way a lot of them act) so i vote uh, no.

Play as a freak of Nature Blue babby?
Birthed by a fool and his/her stalker?
Are you high?
A game about a Krogan, Garrus on Omega, or even a Blasto game is a better Idea
Also because Asari are Freaks.
So In short
NO

I'd rather read Deception then be forced to play as Shepard/Liara's lovechild.

A vote for then next hero being Female Shepherd and Liara's kid.

Even though she's 100% asari just like any other, she loves and reveres the legacy of her "father". She is proud of her heritage and stands to fight and defend both human and asari alike.

Heroic, no? Maybe. I just want to play something besides another stupid human for once.

Either that or an apathetic Krogan traveling the galexy in search of the meaning of life.

So, instead you'll have an asari that's similar in apperance to a human, that idolizes a human, and fights for humanity?  Uhm...yeah...okay...FAIL!

An apathetic krogan searching for the meaning of life?  Did you not play ME2?  Does the Grunt have no meaning to you?

Well the problem with that is playing as Femshep and Liara's kid is way too narrow, they'd have to give the player some "background options" to choose from like in ME2/3. (what did our Shepard do, who did they romance, etc) and that would determine who/what we play as.

Before anything though we'd obviously need more ending options that actually differ from one another in ME3. ಥ_ಥ

Why not? :D After 30-100 years from reaper threat it can be good or doing her as squadmate.
And if you don't Liara as LI you will play for other character race, human or asari, hanar xD

pls, don't kill me for that :)

First off, there won't be any games set after ME3. That's been stated pretty clearly despite the unhappiness it caused among fans--including myself. But that's what happens when you decide to literally blow up your franchise.

Second, female Shepard is not canon. If they ever officially make a canon Shepard, you can bet it will be the male. I'd prefer the female Shepard to be canon, but it ain't happening--and they have stated there is no canon Shepard in the first place.

Third, no. I'm fine with Liara as a friend (actually I really like her as a friend!) but I'm already annoyed enough that she forced herself on my Shepard despite my Shepard having been completely loyal to Garrus. Actually I'm rather annoyed that many asari seemed to be so handsy with my Shepards, whether said Shepards wanted them to or not. (Actually I have the same issue with Vega who relentlessly flirts even when told to knock it off--sexual harassment is NOT okay, people.) I'm doubly annoyed that instead of a scene of my character's love interest, Garrus, I got a scene of Liara as the person she remembered the fondest. And so did anyone who romanced Tali, Thane, Miranda, or anyone who wasn't Ash or Kaidan.

Fourth, I'd rather play a human than an asari. I just would. And if I were going to play an alien, I'd rather have a choice. Then I'd probably pick a turian or a drell or a krogan. The asari are just too obviously a fanservice race to appeal to me much, what with the dancers and the touchy-touchy and Liara practically throwing herself at Shepard despite being told repeatedly that Shepard just wants to be friends.

You don't know that.
EA don't allow to Bioware kill Mass Effect, you know the reason and most fans want ME4.
(If they don't screw-up the EC)

btw: Why everyone here play for femShep, I really don't like her :pinched:

As a Liara fan:
HELL NO
As I've said before, ME4 should be a reboot set in a alternate timeline.
