I personally did like that scene. For one thing, it was a much better way of saying "Buy DLC" than that message.

Seriously though this is god damn hilarious. I have a feeling every Support thread Seival does is gonna bring everything except Support. It's a scene that's punctuated with an ad for DLC, what is there to support about this.

Its an easy plot device. 

In all honesty, if there wasn't a superweapon offswitch - I cannot see the reapers fighting it out to the last one. They would leave and come back later. Not nearly as triumphant of a victory.

The ending you suggest would be one of the most standard and boring endings ever. ME Trilogy Ending deserves much better than "standardized-hollywood-stamp".

Sorry, have to respectfully disagree - I hated this scene and felt like it was a final insult after that horrible ending, especially with the "buy DLC" message.

About being a father and such?  That's not uncut, you have to be single throughout all 3 games.
