I have no problem with the stargazer scene as it is. Without it I probably would have either not liked the end of the game at all or I would have given more consideration to IT theory.

Yes, art. And ME Trilogy is a Masterpiece.

I've just felt a great disturbance. As if millions of true artists from all of Earth's history cried out in disbelief and were suddenly silenced.

Some particular art can't be understood right away. It needs time to be processed.

It was released THREE MONTHS AGO.

Also its a video game for an audience of millions. It's not a work of art produced for a handful of critics who take years to argue over it and eventually interpret it for a wider audience.

The verdict is in.

You know, a lot of people got really bored with the similar and standard games/movies/books. That is the reason why some people just abandon modern gaming/watching/reading. Making games like ME Trilogy is an attempt to make a lot of good for both players and developers. ME3 would be just a standard holywood story without current endings.

Ironically, ME3 uses a number of modern cliches to create a wonderfully boring and nonsensical conclusion.

ME3 would be just a standard holywood story without current endings.

Wha.....

That depends entirely on what the ending is.

The view that it's either artistic and 'deep' or 'standard hollywood ending' is laughably small minded.

"Uses some modern cliches" doesn't mean "consist of them"... What do the most haters suggest will just kill the entire story's artistic value. And there are a lot of people who don't want that to happen. I'm glad that BioWare is so enduring and resistant to unconstructive criticism.

I...... didn't say that, or imply that. So this is kind of pointless to even mention.

What do the most haters suggest will just kill the entire story's artistic value.

Wait, you suggest that, not the 'haters'.

And there are a lot of people who don't want that to happen. I'm glad that BioWare is so enduring and resistant to unconstructive criticism.

I'm glad they're taking a bit of constructive criticism, and you know, acknowledging the ending has problems, instead of siding exclusively with the arrogant sicophants.

I'm not suggesting anything here. I'm just saying that the Old Man and the Kid scene will stay in the game most likely. And I think that BioWare might use it for the extended epilogue, which makes sense.

Yes you are! You've suggested that exact thing several times.

Hopefully not.

I'd rather have something meaningful than the pretentious ramblings of an old man ten thousand years in future telling me about events that are most likely completely different to what actually happened.

Epliogues in this form would be incredibly sh*tty. What are they gonna do, just add a few more lines of dialogue?

"Oh but the Korgan were fine under the rule of The Wrex and The Eve."

How f*cking profound.

As long as no sweets are harmed in the making of an extended scene, I don't care.

So you're saying that the only good thing about Mass Effect 3 are the endings?

Oh the horror.

That's got to be one of the dumbest statements I've ever seen on the forum and I skipped right over it.

For shame, for shame.

As much as I love and respect Buzz Aldrin, that end scene is just painful to listen to. Even if the acting were better, it just doesn't gel at all with the rest of the game. Though to be fair, neither does the ending in its entirety.

I probably wouldn't have minded the Stargazer scene if the ending wasn't so confusing and ... terrible. First the Starkid just made me think ... wait, what? After I did a Google search to make sure I was playing the right game and that someone didn't hack into my machine and overwrite the application as a form of cruel joke, I chose red. Then, the scene with Normandy outrunning ... something and crashing just made me mad. Then, after all that I get the cutscene, which seemed like rubbing salt in a fresh wound

I'm saying that ME3 Ending is one of the best parts of the entire Trilogy.

Woow.... Thanks Seival for showing me wrongness of my ways. I've been playing the wrong game since 2007. The ending of Mass Effect 3 is what made the series great. Someone tell BioWare, I'm sure they'll be proud.

Then I don't understand how you could play the trilogy since it was 99% "standard holywood story".

quit trolling OP the reason we're all even here is because of how atrocious the ending was. it was a blatant backstab/cashgrab and the fans are pissed. rightfully so.

Aha, ha ha, ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha ha ha, HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA, HA HA HA HA.

HA HA HA HA, HA HA, HA HA HA HA HA HA, HA HA HA HA HA, HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Oh my god.

Something just happened to my chest, I think all my ribs just broke.

Seriously? One of the best parts of the entire trilogy. Now, most of the time I'm pretty tolerant of people and their views, I tend not to make assumptions about the person behind the internet persona based on what they post, but my god, you have to be certifiably insane to think that.

There was no "backstab/cashgrab", and only minority of players are pissed...

...And support is not a trolling.

You clearly like to make fun of other's opinions. And clearly don't want to support BioWare's work. Then why don't you just stop posting in this thread? Your current behaviour doesn't help anyone.
