Apology in advance

I am going to give an apology, in advance of this weekend, for any team-mates I might encounter.  I am a rather old gamer, by todays standards, who plays for fun.  I play bronze, and always leave when Im teleported into a silver or gold match.  With the operation this weekend, I will be forced to play silver, and want to apologize, to anyone that will probably have to carry, resesitate, or otherwise take care of me.  I will do my best to stay alive and help the team.  Thank you for understanding.  :(

I wasn't aware the event started, it wasn't supposed to start for another 2 hours? Did they start it early again?

according to a post earlier, it did. I re-started ME3 and the announcement was there.

Did the carry objective or whatever it's called come up? I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that the game must include the new Rebellion Characters, AND a carry objective must be successfully completed.

Operation still doesn't start till 6pm PST/PDT so consider it practice unless you got teh operation screen when you logged in.

Nope, doesn't need to have the carrying objective.

Haven't seen the operation screen yet, but if you're on PC and want to make sure you get credit later I'd be more than happy to help you get it.

I know it is not very polite, especially if you're a woman, but just out of curiosity, may i ask how old you are?

Unfortunately the screen is not reliable as the announcement time, but rather the time listed in Priestly's thread. Even with that, I usually wait til Saturday to be safe. But don't worry about being too bad, most of us don't mind lesser skilled players, especially if you can communicate.

The official thread clearly states the squad goal is extraction on SILVER with at least one of the new characters.

It is currently just after 4:15 PST. So wait almost two hours. GMT time would be 1AM with DST, but figure 2AM since Bioware has had issues with figuring out timezones in the past.

Oh god damn I thought it was Saturday today as its half term over here, my bad, what a relief as I got some A-levels to be revising for, and thanks.
