Everything looks great, it really does. I guess I'm old-fashioned and prefer the old movie-type trailers. I like to look at behind-the-scenes-stuff but it's usually after I've become enamored enough with the face product to want to look behind the scenes.............not before.

I guess I fundamentally don't understand what you expected, then.

I expected to actually learn things about the game, like plot, characters, etc.

Okay, so I saw a couple'a things.   First off, the Tempest and the "other ship" prolly the Ark were two different ships.   So I was wrong about that.

 

 

Second off, aliens.  We saw the asari looking alien at the beginning but with dark eyes.   Second off, we saw the brute looking thing toward the middle, and the yahg looking thing towards the end.  

 

 

That looks like an asari (or a human) and a krogan @ 1:00 and looks like the same krogan and human @1:20

Yeah, that was an interesting choice and it definitely left me confused at the start. I was expecting a teaser but not this type ;]

Yeah, none of the previous bioware games had that kind of expressive animation, even in the mo-capped cutscenes.

Given us the premise of a game is not being spoilery. It's being marketed.

the video felt very much akin to the N7Day video, with a bit of behind-the-scene footage thrown in. a broad generalisation of the game, with 2-3 sec glimpses of "new things"

 

was not expecting a video of this nature. sure there's new stuff but i was hoping more would have been elaborated upon with respect to either the gameplay or the story.

I really don't want to know much of anything about the story except for the basics, so I am okay with this.

I was anticipating a info dump honestly. (An hour show shared with other games. I have only myself to blame on this one :-P) Names, some plot other than you wake up in a new galaxy. What are we fighting? Is it a survival horror game in a new galaxy... Some of those beasties looked pretty intense.

It all looked great, which makes it all the worse for fans because we just crave more. 2 minutes after years of drip feed will make one go crazy.

However, there was some combat, shows some potential squad mates, our new ship (O.O) and everyone crying about the Female protag at the end, very well could be a squad mate/LI. So before you blame SJW's think for yourself a moment.

So, built a lot of hype now it's time to deal with the disappointment. A behind the scene look was probably my worst case scenario, at least they shown some glimpses at gameplay,

Well, I liked the trailer, but for a major event I expect much more, so a 0 to 10, this was probably a 2.

Well, at least I loved what I saw. So between seeing a lot and hating it and seeing a little and loving I much prefer the latter. So that's nice.

I was wondering could 'fall' be gamescom, instead of N7 Day? There is a part of me that sort of likes the vagueness (like Star Wars 7 in retrospect) means there not spoiling the story or what not. However I didn't see anywhere that this was actual in-game footage; so I'm skeptical if the game will look like that.
