There's been one video with protagonist (by the way, we're not sure she is protagonist) and suddenly it's "female centric protagonist campaign"?

I swear, every time I read the word, 'female'* on these forums, this is basically how I picture/hear the speaker.
*Link for an example. Note, particularly, the inflection--it's a sort of sneering/spitting combination.

While waiting for the stream to start yesterday, I saw comments in the EA Play player complaining about Battlefield 1's protagonist being black, followed up by horrible stereotypes. People are evil.

there was n7 2015 video with only femshep voice and now this.
maybe she is not our protag and my "fear" is groundless but still i prefer equality not superiority.
There is going to be a male PC, if that's your worry. I couldn't care less which gender they use for PR.
Seriously?
yes seriously
i know there going to be male pc
but this is role playing game and as a male i cant associate myself with female character and because of that i prefer equality in pr campaign rather than superiority.

Are you a dimbulb and forgetting that Male Shep was the only pr campaign for Mass Effect 1-3? There was one femshep trailer for ME3 and the rest was celebrated around Male shep. How about a face scan for Male Shep and derp faces for Femshep?

You should've seen the massive whingefest after Watch_Dog's protag was announced. And they say "SJW's" get offended too easily.

Is there a new protagonist for the next one or something? The only whingfest should be about the fact that they make a sequel in the first place.

Just because you prefer the male only pr campaign doesn't mean that it's the right way to go. Bioware has a large gamer girl fanbase....bigger than any other gaming fanbase that I've seen. It only makes sense that they want to appeal to them too. It's not vengeance. It's progression.
And sorry about the automatic insult. The change that the forum has undergone overnight is really quite frustrating. It went from fun speculation to a tumultuous whiner-fest, and I've let my frustration get to me in my posts.

Take this with a heavy grain of salt, but...
Mass Effect: Andromeda release date leaked by Amazon
http://www.vg247.com...aked-by-amazon/
Everybody knows delays can make for a better game, but that doesn’t make it easier when said game is as hotly-anticipated as Mass Effect: Andromeda. Bioware previously confirmed its latest game had been delayed to 2017, but the good news is a Amazon listing might have leaked the official release date to fans: March 31, 2017.

German Amazon also seem to have the supposed Andromeda-related novel by NK Jemisin listed now too like that Polish site, and like that online catalogue and other German site used to have.
[translation] "Mass Effect: Andromeda Paperback - November 14 2016 of NK Jemisin (Author)
Fans of science fiction game series Mass Effect can breathe. For the end of 2016, the next part of the highly successful space saga is finally announced. The official novelization of the game was written by author NK Jemisin closely with game developers and is the prequel to the highly anticipated fourth installment of Mass Effect Andromeda represents."

Mass Effect's Mako will actually be fun to drive... thanks to the Need for Speed team
http://www.gamesrada...for-speed-team/
"One really fortuitous thing is that, because so many other teams are on Frostbite now, the Need for Speed folks had done a couple of games on Frostbite at that point," Flynn explains. "They were more than happy to lend a hand and offer advice and guidance to our developers to make sure that the Mako, when we actually get it all done, drives and plays great. It doesn't feel like you have those many, many edge cases the Mako in [the first Mass Effect] had where you could do crazy stuff with it. So that won't be there, knock on wood."
"I think we've approached pretty much everything with Mass Effect: Andromeda that we shouldn't have assumptions about the way we've done things in the past," Walters tells me. "Some things have worked very well, other things haven't, so we looked at the Mako, we said 'Is it fun?' That had to be the question we wanted to answer first. And then, 'is it serving the purpose of exploration that we wanted it to?' We put a lot of effort into it early on to sort of answer those questions."

Isn't March 31 the last day of Q1 2017? It's also a Friday, while games usually come out on Tuesday in the US. Seems more like a placeholder to me.
