I figured. Bioware did say when they show the protagonist they would show both male and female.

Yes, Hector. It has been both noticed and appreciated. Srsly, thank you. I mean, it may seem like a small thing..and maybe it is, but it makes a difference.

 

As Jos pointed out, the devil, or the god, is in the details. It's the details that separate the good from the great.

 

So for all the devs that are going the extra mile..esp. if you may not have to..

Sorry. I get that some people care, I really do, but this whole thing reminds me of all the time I used to spend head-canoning inconsistencies in Star Trek lore. I still do it from time to time, for fun, but I'm kinda past the stage of asking for explanations.

Right now I'm inclined to believe there will be at least two Ryders, one female and another one male, so that when you pick your gender, you are actually choosing between two different characters. 

This has potential. 

 

Though it could the possible that the other Ryder stays your brother
