'Since the ME3 ending isn't acknowledged in ME:A'

'I don't know where you saw this info'

This is worrying.

Is he unaware we already know the endings wont impact on MEA? Or worse is he unaware the ending wont impact on MEA?

Get it together Bio we need you guys to function, or we wont function.

Thank you Jos ^_^

(It's strange to talk directly to a dev, thanks for your work! ton of love <3 <3 )

I'm not sure what you're thanking me for, but you're welcome. And developers are, despite reports to the contrary, normal human beings like everyone around here. (Except Zipzap, who is krogan)

I know this is random, but thanks for making this game. Mass Effect is my favorite franchise and sometimes i feel like you guys aren't appreciated enough.

Thanks again.

It's always good for us to read posts, whether they're thankful or critical. Appreciate the gesture. We're all invested in making Andromeda something special.

While you're making the game, will you sneak an image of your avatar in the game as an easter egg?

Developers have special abilities that allow them to force push code too

Don't tell anyone, but there actually *is*. The only thing is, it's always behind the player, roughly 3-4 meters away, looking at the back of their head. If you manage to look it in the eyes, you have a 97% chance to die and a 3% chance to become invulnerable.

Seems they're moving away from paragon renegade system of morality for andromeda

I think we already read this info after EA Play, but thanks ~

More grey choices is a very good and useful idea  !

Now, I have to say I will miss my Paragon bar. I don't know, even if the system wasn't perfect I always liked it ~ And I have good memories of me and my friends taking pictures of our screens to share the evolution of our Paragon/renegade Shepard lol

Anyway, I can't wait to see how the new system will be and how our choices we will be taken into consideration :)

Seems they're moving away from paragon renegade system of morality for andromeda

Quote from the article:

“I think now we’re moving away from that. We’ve been looking for other ways to engage more of those shades of grey; less about it being obviously being right or wrong and more about giving people a sense of choice.”

Seems odd that he would word it that way. Objectively, the feature didn't ever seem about right or wrong but was about the players choice in the development of Shepard's persona and story. Although, if a player identifies strongly to the choices presented on a personal level they could seem as ethical rather than personality development of a fictional character. However, it's possible he could have been using the language that players who have complained about the system have used to describe it. On a side note, it's funny to see grey being used to describe the choice instead of the neutral colour green between the red and the blue.

It's certainly a different approach, and he said as much in the interview with Geoff Keighley that "It's less about choosing between opposite ends of an extreme and more being in a grey area; somewhere in the middle" (paraphrased)

It's a new story and fresh re-start for this franchise. This is where they define how it plays and feels and hopefully, this time, they don't go bipolar and change up the formula too drastically should there be an Andromeda 2 and 3. That was my only big complaint for ME3, that Shepard used to be my character but then he became an autodialogue-ridden pre-written character by taking away so much choice that was strictly made for characterization.

In DA:I I sometimes got tired of all the choices I had, so I'm okay with whatever it becomes. just keep it consistent please.

ME3 was also a big step in the right direction regarding all-around "reputation" instead of directly color-coded morality. Keep going, Bio-guys.

Shepard wasn't already pre-written? Hell, you can't get past ME1's first mission without railroaded decision-making.

Many dialogue choices all go to the same response in ME1 as well, and you've also got a fine amount of auto-dialogue, too.

For instance, there isn't a single Shepard who doesn't say: "You're not alive, not really. You're just a machine, and machines can be broken."

Just another thing about Mass Effect that they are throwing away.  <_<

And this more shades of grey thing probably means more "Morally ambiguous/grey/edgy/dark things are cool" like Bioware has started doing more and more.  -_-

Why is this a bad thing? Why do you need the blue points and the red points?

Moral ambiguity is a wonderful thing, as it engages the brain. As for "edgy" and "dark", nah, just take a look at Dragon Age, Fallout: New Vegas, and many other games with less importance placed on simple good vs. bad actions.

I think that the interrupts will be in the game, just not with the paragon or renegade logo, but maybe we will have the dialogue wheel to make a choice with limited time.

I hope it gets incorporated better than DAI.  While I like the idea, I found the method of taking the opportunity less than intuitive.
