let me hope. let me pretend it's possible, somehow. just a little longer.

I'm.............. sorry ... !

Have hope. It's possible. Have a hug  !

Sorry again

Mr. Zap, which concept art are you referring t

ho ! Zip, if you don't mind, I still have this image on my server, I'm posting it (hello Miss BW dev  B)  ) :

turian_by_scarlett_aimpyh-da6c0yk.jpg

We discussed it already on a turian thread. I agree it looks like a turian but I still need more than a blurred little image lost on a background to be sure tbh.

When we are here, another user (TBSN) found this :

turians2_by_scarlett_aimpyh-da9bdf4.png

Not sure what to think about this one, it could be, but the white armor really look like the one of the human character so.... -_-  who knows ?

For the quarian... where did you see a quarian Zip ? I have to admit I haven't follow the quarian threads at all.

That would have been the case for me if there were no Krogans in this.

I would be equally annoyed (no looking at you, you are not a mass effect game annoyed) for Krogans too. I don't have the mass effect feeling without the principal races:Quarian, Turians, Krogan Asari (they are my less loved race in the trilogy, but I'm happy are there), Salarian, and the less principal Batarian and Dreel. I would be sad if Elcor, Volus, Vorcha, and Hanar are not there, but I would not feel the emptyness the others races will leave me with.

Even hating it, I can somehow came to terms with no Geth, but is already hard for me.

It's Mass Effect. I'm going to buy no matter what Alien species they include.

I was never a Quarian fan.

Turians are awesome. But if they choose to not go to Andromeda, that's their thing. Out with the old, in with the new.

We desperately need some info so that the forum can stop freaking out. Pronto.

Those enamoured by Garrus will miss the Turians. I don't.

My approach to the whole "how many MW Council races" will Bio bring along is based on the (romances arc + LGBT inclusion). At least, as far as the Squad configuration goes. It's possible that all the major / medium / lesser Council races are included but will be shoved into the periphery, outside the protag's Team with little Word Budget allowance.

Thus the premise for Squad race inclusion in the game is based on:

1. Human centric story

2. Romance

3. LGBT advancement agenda by Bio

4. Hiring of a SJW author to write the prequel novel (supports item 3)

5. A limit of seven characters in the squad.

6. A new alien LI (from Helius cluster)

Items 3-4 requires more  humans to advance the romances and to "treat every character equally" (with respect to item 3-4). More humans occupying Team slots leave less for the non-humans.

It is in Bio's interest to generate very interesting characters from the Helius cluster... emotional characters that players can attach themselves to. This will provide longevity for Mass Effect in Andromeda. To do this, the Word Budget, by necessity, leaves little room for lesser MW races and probably for medium ones too. If Bio does this right, Mass Effect: Andromeda 2 will contain humans + more Helius cluster races with maybe only the Asari in the Squad.

I am a Turian fan and a Garrus fan. I would HATE an attempt of Garrus 2.0 in Andromeda, but hell, I love the Turians as a culture,, as aesthetic design and their characters: Saren was a great villan, Lorik Quin was great with his witty remarks, Nyreen was awesome, the Primarch was the best Turian politician, Sparatus was a hateful bastard and he was great that way, Chellick was an opportunistic... in general Turians species have had a great bunch of characters. That's why we are concern. We don't need a Garrus 2.0. It's just Mass Effect without Turians is like missing a intergalactic arm  :crying:

Honestly at this point, if we are to be having a clean slate so to speak with Andromeda, I'd be alright having as few familiar faces as possible and mostly new ones with Andromeda. Just the ones we have so far is perfect IMO. Too much and it might steal the spotlight for newcomers.

It's like the idea of getting used to playing without Shep. They've stressed many times the departure from old ME and the MW, so if thats the case, I welcome as much newness as possible. Can't wait to see what new species they give us.

If they want to add a turian to the squad but don't want it to be Garrus 2.0, I think it'll need to be a female turian. If they have another male turian, everyone will just compare him to Garrus (and we know how things work, people always prefer old charatcers, no matter how good the new ones are) until the end of times.

Anyways, I'm 99.98% sure that turians will be in the next game, they are too big and important to leave behind. If they want to leave them behind, they'll need some really good lore to explain the reasons.

I would be shocked if any of the major races were left out of MEA.  People will freak if quarians are out and I can't imagine turians being out.  Sadly i think Batarians might get cut, hanar and elcor are also prime candidates along with Drell.  I'd be surprised if they had no volus.

I like all the Milky Way races, but none of them is a "must have" for me in a game set in a new galaxy. I'll judge the game on its merits once it's out, not based on which particular elements of the original trilogy they've decided to include or leave out.

A female Turian would be great after almost three games of nonexistence :)

And if devs go to that route, she must be a rules-lover, all about protocol and procedure  :D That is the perfect anti-Garrus type: good cop even when she tries to be a bad cop :D

I have the feeling that most races will be included. But some may not appear in the squad. They will be everywhere in the arks and on the Hyperion 1, though. Same goes for LIs. Would be odd if nearly everyone in the squad is a LI and also must be one of the included races. Think about what problems the writers would have distributing those: "No no no. That doesn't fit. Sigh. Let's start over. The only combination left is nonsense. A krogan male cannot be a lesbian."

If the ark theory is correct, then there shouldnt' be any homossexual characters in it because, well, it's an ark.  It should contain specimens capable of reproducing themselves for the sake of the continuations of civilization.

But i'm sure Bioware will have some homosexual Andromedans for us to explore.

Unless we find that there's a copy of each milky way's races in andromeda. that would be....weird

This is just silly. Unless turkey baster technology has been somehow lost, homosexuality is no barrier to reproduction.

That concept art image, found upthread, of a "truck stop" gave me an idea. Any bar or adult establishment or in you cabin in the Tempest, where you can get inebriated, I'd like us to see visual illusions as an aftereffect.

Here is a sample (Note: the icons/imgs don't actually move):

My thoughts excactly. Somehow I get the feeling that some people want this game to be a big fix-it fic that makes all the hurt ME3 caused to go away.

A clean, fresh start is what I hope.

the big ship is an arch ( like moise) so i think all the old races are on it  >> the races we see as compagnons perhaps we will have 2 or 3 news races but not 10 .

it's difficult to see this i first think that they will release more info  after e3 but more likely after n7 day so be it . waiting isn't the best gamer quality p
