Alas, my girlish bikin figure has gone the way of the Proteans. Only ruins and artifacts left of what was once a rich culture.
It don't matter - this is magic plot armour.

It is actually possible for him to survive to run tests on the sea shells.

We have a problem. This is where a lot of folks come to be informed. We should probably relocate somewhere else, but where?
Does this mean we'll have to go on twitter to find out what's happening on twitter, rather than using the twitter thread? We have a problem. This is where a lot of folks come to be informed. We should probably relocate somewhere else, but where?
uhhhh that was....UNEXPECTED. This is intolerable!
Must be a joke.
It's like being dismissed from a girlfriend:
"so you are important to me but you know, there is this new guy i've meeting for a while and now i believe that our relationship is of no use anymore. SO, bye! No need to be angry or sad though, cuz you can still follow me on twitter or instagram whatever"
wtf
Forums are like THE OFFICIAL CHANNEL for every damn game company. I know social media is nice and very useful and it makes sense devs are spending more time on them than searching or answering the forums but c'mon, you didn't show any good reason to close the forums anyways.
People searching for announcements, looking for support, tips, general information, good chat, even banter about your games, everything must be on these forums or else where will it be? On twitter?
i can't be the only one who is totally deceived about this
Assholes, have to be blunt here. Just another way to kick the longest tenure fans in the balls. People who have been here for years, through thick and thin, people use resources to give out info to new players both single p;layer and mutli player. People form long term friendships here which you can't do on those other venues. the things that actually keep some people loyal to bioware will be gone as will the 'must buy' mentality.
This is no new trend in business however, forget about the people who got you to where you are in pursuit of a large overall audience.
Dumb move.

i see what you're doing there
but it's as if i was throwing a party and then at the apex of it my mom come home and then: "**** off everybody, the party is over!"
Not everyone uses reddit. Or other social sites like facebook/twitter/tumblr/whatever-they-listed.
I'm among those people.
Odd, I don't feel my balls have been kicked. I'm a bit surprised, but I'll just move to another forum (most of which have better content to crap ratio anyway) and keep in touch with the people from this site I like.
The problem with reddit is that it's heavily moderated, so most of the posts that make it to the top pages are "look at this fan art". Not to mention the fact that almost every thread is pretty time sensitive before it gets buried. It's not the best place to stay informed.
Well, that's a shame. I do go on the Reddit every now and then, but I've never really been keen on that site's format - the voting system, the lack of image embeds, the way threads tend not to stick around in the same way they do here unless stickied - so it never holds my attention for long.

byebye guys because next batch of big news is in the n7day and at this date forum will be dead so ...
Sadly I can't think of a better alternative.
A forum made and run by the community.
The main thing is getting us all to go there and to keep going there. We need to pick one and make that the one, if we want any semblance of the BSN community to continue.
True, but Reddit is basically a bunch of discussion forums. So if you can sign up to these forums, I don't really see why you couldn't sign up to those.
Perhaps, but the principal is, we shouldn't have to.
I came to ME after the last piece of ME3 DLC had been released. It's always daunting to join a new community that's been going on as long as these forums had been, when everything is new to you and old hat to everyone else. This thread helped me find my footing. I'll miss sharing in the excitement that each tweet could potentially bring and I wish I could experience the release of ME:A with you all.
to everyone.
