Exactly. Hrungr and others have contributed so much to this thread, and therefore the fandom.
This place has meant a lot to me, it's what inspired me to start doing YouTube.
BTW Hrungr and all other twitter posters, if you do decide to migrate to a new forum and continue all the Twitter threads, please let us know where you will be going. Same goes to anyone else who regularly visits this thread in particular and posts. If we can keep at least this thread intact with most of the users, then that would be a big step in keeping everyone together, since this is the main thread plenty of people visit, myself included.

Maybe Hrungr could start a blog, or run a /r/biowarenews, or /r/biowaretweets or something. Modded by EP.
I haven't posted in a while, but I am sad to see the forums ending. I have been a member for close to a year now and I will have fond memories of a lot of the discussions that happened here. I remember when the DLC's were revealed for Inquisition and we chatted about them and grew excited for them and of course talking about all of the info for Andromeda as well. I loved talking about the lore, characters, gameplay, and etc. when it came to ME and DA. Like others have said I want to thank Hrungr and the others who have contributed so much to this thread and other threads and kept us all up to date with the latest information about Bioware's games. It's been fun. ![]()
Guess I don't mind watching it all end right here with you fine folks.
ouch, don't do this to me. ![]()
Any respect I had for Bioware is gone after this.
ouch, don't do this to me.
Sorry! ![]()

I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed that I'll never get to see what this place would've looked like after some real Andromeda information got out there. I only really re-engaged with the BSN after that short gameplay leak a few months ago, and all that's happened since is EA Play.
Ah well, still got the game to look forward to, I guess.
Shame I won't get to make that, 'Which room on Tempest is best for the sex?' thread I was planning on putting together after we got a floor plan or something.
Any new tweets coming out are going to be completely overshadowed by the fact these boards are closing. This will become a rather grim and bitter thread.
Honestly I don't really care about BSN overall (since they closed Off-Topic it was just a matter of time they nuked everything) but I'll miss this Twitter thread because it was the only way I've keep updated about the development of ME:A.

Twitter might be a good replacement. I don't know, it's just a feeling I have.

No need to be snarky. Of course I can monitor every BW dev on Twitter but this thread was good because it was the best way to see newsworthy tweets in a curated fashion.
A lot of people don't want to join twitter. Until now this thread was always an intermediary source for us.
You don't need to join twitter to keep up with the tweets. Just find a Bioware person, keep a note of their twitter name and search for it from time to time; the suggested accounts section on the left side of the page with be mostly filled with other Bioware people too, so you can read through stuff that way.

Yeah, that's just as simple and organised as the Twitter Thread.

Besides, the thread is often derailed for pages discussing things that are not tweet-related, so I wouldn't say it was simple or organised, though I grant you it's nice to have someone picking out the juicy, informative tweets.
Here's some space tweets.
Reviewed a mission today that I'm so excited for y'all to play. Outstanding mix of humor, character, thrilling combat, & unique visuals. ![]()
The team is rockin' it. #space
(wish my excitement for this game hadn't completely bottomed out)
So anyone has any sugestion of a place i can go to see news about the next game and engage other people in some nice discussions? ![]()
A really bs motive for this decision. What kind of "talk" they expect to have on places like twitter, facebook or tumblr? ![]()
Speculation
1. Cost containment measure = internal problems
2. Bio crumbling and this is the first crack (see #1)
3. EA is dissatisfied with the studio (see #1, 2)
4. Bio fears another ME backlash
I will go with a mix of 1 and 4...

Most video game sites will cover the majority of stories related to MEA. Reddit will be a good fit for continuing the kind of discussions that go on here.
Welp, this is weird and I totally never saw it coming. I recommend everyone to head to Reddit. The ME community there is probably the biggest after BSN. It's pretty cool there, and similar in many ways (Both in good and bad ways) to BSN. They are usually among the first to post new leaks, information and theories.
Only downside to Reddit - no Twitter thread.
