No, he didn't.
He did?
No, he didn't.
I was coming here to announce a new Twitter thread and Hrungr's presence, but I see folks beat me to it.
I have an invite out to Elite Pincecone. I need to send one to Lady Sif as well. And other tweet-posting regulars I may have missed?
Beat me to it!
I think a part of it is that it's gotten away from them and that there's a lot of offenders. At least that I've personally seen.
Admittedly, I don't know anything about the mods that are now in place. I hear a lot about outsourcing where it comes to that? I've noticed that the actual toxic threads weren't closed when they should have been, though. I remember one that had someone make demands that his male character should be able to r*pe the female companions to punish them, and that was allowed to go on for... far too many pages.

And that is just one problem when you outsource.
Oh, I definitely agree that they should start again and work out a better moderation system! I know I'll be sad to see the forums go completely because it was the easiest way to find all the latest info in one place and when you found a good, intelligent discussion it was truly something enjoyable to take part in.
I just mean that I agree that not accepting toxic 'criticism' =/= not accepting criticism at all. I belatedly realise I should have added much more along these lines to my original post. ^^;

I still believe it's a problem of Bio's own making.....
Be at it may, Bio has made a decision that for games with no extra content income to EA, that all need to be wiped out.
The import isn't guaranteed to work yet, but they are working very hard to even try. I've seen talk of a few others that are trying to attempt some archiving too and I think are communicating about what they're saving. I don't know. I really hope the importing works because that's probably the best thing that could happen for us. *knocks on wood* I just joined fextralife, since we need to be members before the (potential) import begins. It seems like a good place, so I'm giving it a try. As I am with others.
Some of the new sites seem decent enough, but, yeah, they're new. Members that are more familiar with/like each other are likely going to stick together, so goes the fracturing. As a bit of a newb I feel like a small fry being tossed into the big kid pools.
Even if people mostly end up separated I think it would be a good idea for these sites to somehow stay connected with each other. We'll be on different vessels, but at least we'd still be within reach.
Ugh. I liked BSN because it was an all-in-one destination...
I know. I like one destination, too.
But it's gonna be alright; and you don;t feel like a newb to me. You got one of those old BSN souls. I can just tell.
We may fragment a bit, but think of it like the Free Marches/Fereldan in DA. Bannorns:
"The Bannorn possesses the largest number of freeholders in Ferelden, many of whom belong to banns. A number of relatively minor lords also reside in the Bannorn and, as a group, they represent a powerful political force as well as their combined military strength forms a large portion of the Fereldan army. However, they are often prone to fighting amongst themselves constantly, over anything and everything. They will go to war with each other over such things as elopements, or even wool. One war was even started by an apple tree.
Due to this political status, it is considered being very difficult to control the Bannorn by force."
Sounds a bit familiar, eh? ![]()

Okay, let me get this straight again. Q4 2017 is equivalent to March-ish 2017?
I know. I like one destination, too.

The Bannorn thing actually is somehow comforting! ![]()
Haha, thanks.
Became active here about a month and half ago (and I'm posting more now because the END IS NIGH). Maybe I just quickly learned how to interact without embarrassing myself (too much) or being too stupid -- came close, though. Being a tad neurotic/socially anxious has it's perks, I guess.
A common sense of humor also helps.
It'll be weird settling into a new place even if it's mostly with the same people. Many will be lost in the shuffle or will leave entirely. At least I know the Twitter Thread will always be a happy place. ![]()
I believe EA's quarters run differently than the norm, but I'm betting on March 2017. 28th specifically.
I popped him an invite via PM as well.
Sounding like we may have covered everyone.
So, yes, we're trying to carry on the Twitter thread (and the rest of BSN) at http://bsn.boards.net
Everyone's obviously still free to post and update in here. We're just trying to get everything set up and ready to go over there as the consolidated evacuation forum for when BioWare locks this one down.
Q4 FY17 runs from Jan. 1 - Mar. 31, 2017. So the time frame hasn't changed.
game is so close from release I have yet to see a single gameplay demo out of it. Bloody hell

2016 has an unusual number of Fiscal Year back end loaded games. Six games to be exact (not counting mobiles). It's their turn to shine, so to speak. Marketing is concentrating on these games that are set to launch between Aug-Nov:
Q1: PC + Console = Mirror's Edge: Catalyst
Q2: PC+Console = FIFA 17
: Console = Madden 17 + NHL 17
Q3: PC + Console = Battlefield1 + Titanfall 2

I got this cute little guy from @SarahKFetter via @annlemay! I'll take him out of his suffocation bag later :-/.
Okay, let me get this straight again. Q4 2017 is equivalent to March-ish 2017?
Seems to be the case, yes.
I could play the game or work on a spreadsheet. Or play the game and delegate the work that needs to be done on this spreadsheet. Hmmm.

The fiscal year is different from the calendar year. It looks like EA's fiscal year runs from April-March. So, as Hrungr said, Q4 2017 would be Jan-March 2017.
AN IMPORTANT UPDATE
Fexelea's importing has begun!! Visit this thread to commence the transfer and CLAIM YOUR ACCOUNT:

6.30AM is much too early an AM, especially after only a few hrs sleep. I DO THIS FOR YOU @AlecAntrim
I'm thinking of all my co-workers making Mass Effect right now. I will bring back valuable intel on drinking beer, promise.
So......what fan-BSN board will I need to go to get Bioware updates? And discuss games when it comes out?
