BW had nothing to do with that forum closing, it was caused by internal drama.

ME:A's MP mode doesn't necessarily need a forum like this to become huge.
I think the likelihood of that is very slim. I'd have given up on ME 3 MP after 6 months if it hadn't been for the forum. I'd have kept playing it... occasionally. But it would have been sporadic.
It will be very difficult for BioWare to support MEA MP without a forum, and the QA will suffer as a result. Based on their two previous outings, that doesn't bode well for MEA MP's overall longevity or success.
They could add development time to extend inhouse pre-release testing and QA, but it is doubtful that would be enough (post-release support is a necessity and reality in this world) and even less likely that they would do it, regardless.

The owner says a lot of things. BW is not going after fan boards. This is a warning, what might happen to a user run forum, when you don't have reliable people running it. Try http://bsn.boards.net/ (probably the most popular option right now) or the one posted by Fexelea (where bsn threads/posts are currently being copied to).

The former owner of uBSN recently posted a thread regarding their decision to close that forum. Screenshots from that post are recording on the first top post of this page.
It was entirely the owner's decision, though they did later reverse that decision and instead, passed on ownership to a select group of moderators. Those moderators have stated in the second page of this thread that they're currently deciding how to proceed.

It's all on Origin and has been for years. The old BSN-accounts were merged with the EA-accounts a long time ago.
Just activate your ME2-key on Origin and everything you already own should show up.

As others said, DLC can be linked to your Origin (in fact, I bought them through Origin), so closing the forum shouldn't cause additional problems (it's problematic enough as it is).

If BSN's closure was a plan to get people to stop complaining/forget about the lack of Andromeda news, then it was extremely effective!
